Yup. Lingard on clear instructions to not drop back. It's crazy really

The midfield set up is wrong.

Martial is on the wrong side and we’re playing Matic and Pogba as a flat two when we should know that Alli & Eriksen will come into those areas and overload it.

I felt Shaw would better suited in this game, too.

Even though he’s a crap footballer, I agree. Shaw at least as a defender is useful in backs against the wall type games.

exactly, these ppl don't recognise the tactical side of the game

We pass ourselves into trouble because players don’t move once they’ve passed it, so basic but we eventually have no passing option left and get cut out.

Just said that myself. Jones tackle was no worse than either of Kanes and he’s had 2 both on Sanchez.

Quite a lot luck tbh.
These margins could easily been in our advantage at this level. Both teams look aggresive and when we've conceded as we have it's totally expected.

We should start kicking people, Spurs have a habit of bitint
