We probably attacked less and had less of the ball in the second half which was terrible considering we started the half 2-0 down.

Unless Mourinho plans to play Sánchez from the right, he’s unbalanced the team.

If that’s the case, I’d have rather seen us go for Mahrez or Moura.

I’m not criticising Sanchez. But why is Martial starting on the right tonight? Has he ever had a good game there?

I feel like Mourinho would have been more pragmatic without Sanchez available. He didn’t play to his usually methodology in big games and we looked worse for it.

This is what happens when our team doesn't buck up their ideas.

He isn't a holding midfielder in his defence. No idea what Jose plans to do with this side now Sanchez has joined.

We need 3 in midfield in these games to get anything from Pogba.

Spurs controlled the whole game and looked comfortable.

Harsh?

This team still panics once going behind in bigger games and have to go searching for goals. We seem to just lose shape and concentration.

VAR doesn't take into account kick offs I believe so Spurs goal would have stood with VAR lol.

He’s not a specific DM no, but he’s still a central midfielder, and supposably a top one.

He lost every 50/50, lost the ball to Dembele countless times, never followed his runner, his work rate was miles off his oppositions too. Those aren’t specific traits for a DM. He went into his shell and stopped coming for the ball, only Lingard was showing for it at every opportunity.

I don’t know how dedicated Pogba is to becoming even better, or more rounded, but he needs to be.

You have talked some rubbish tonight Hafi. Spurs won because they played much better than us. Not because of luck or the ref.

I think we deserved to win tbh Hafi. We peppered their goal with shots whilst Spurs were fortunate to score with their only 2 chances.

If you disallow Spurs 1st goal and Jones doesn't do that that is 2 goals Spurs scored gone.

Exactly

We can all talk about tactics but the mentality of the team in these games is just as big a problem.

The crazy thing is we had even worse performances then this this season.
