I think you'll win it by 20 points to be honest. You're about 3 levels above everyone else.

I doubt it, I think we'll start to rotate a lot more soon and focus attention elsewhere. I would say the battle for top four is too tight that others have to keep winning, but then some of the results in the last couple of games don't seem to reflect that! Chelsea one was ridiculous

And after a full day arguing with winston and another rag no mark about academy players.

You do have to laugh.

Laporte did look like he fitted in.

The yellow card tackle on Diaz was a joke, seriously when is the fa going to talk to the refs it’s not funny any more.

Even the most pessimistic amongst us would have to say it's in the bag now.

LQ Man City are making the premierleague look like a joke while your rivals embarrass themselves most weeks.

15 points clear, and now only 39 points now to play for.

Any comparison between us and Newcastle, or indeed United blowing a 12 point lead can now not be made. If we blow this lead, it'll be even worse than that.

Spending £60m on Laporte has resulted in us going from the 3rd best defense in the league to the joint best defense in the league over the course of one game! That's some going!!!

8 wins and a draw is all that is needed now, 8 wins really if you allow for the fact the GD is ridiculous. It is like the Rags and Chelsea have given up.

Laporte looked decent.

Not a bad start.

How many points clear would we be if United hadn't stolen Sanchez off us?

posted on 31/1/18

15 points clear Boris. I just hope you don't break Man Utd 30 game record of 25 wins 2 draws 3 losses which points wise is shared with Chelsea 77 points after 30 games although they had 1 fewer win.

Great team performance but it was top v bottom so a win was expected.

City were on it tonight. Everyone played well.

One player who I am really warming to is Zinchencko. He is getting better with every game, as is Bernardo Silva.

On a sour note. What a shocking refereeing performance.

McLean, Rondon and Phillips should have all seen Red cards, especially McLean and Phillips. Their tackles were a disgrace.

I am concerned about the message this sends to other teams who are yet to play City. If these tackles continue to go unpunished, I can see a City player ended up with a career ending injury.

15 points clear though and we are on to Burnley.

COYB!

I'm still not considering it won until it's mathematically certain

In a slightly odd way, and hard to explain, I'm not actually that fussed. Every game at the minute is a joy to watch, I can't really ask for more than that.

Zinchenko, I think will move back into his natural position of cm, he's too good not to. He has been absolutely excellent though, the system really suits playing a midfielder there as an inverted wing back, as it enables us to get additional numbers in midfield too.

Going to be interesting when Mendy comes back how Guardiola changes the middle, as he is always after that numerical superiority

Great debut by Laporte, cool and collected, not afraid to try a 50 yard pass.

Sterling was generally poor but still got 2 assists.

West Brom were as dirty and cynical as Cardiff, as others have said, the FA have got to sort this out.
