One without suspensions and injuries - yes.
As it stands now with what TC has to pick from - nope.
I think he's getting confused with "send offs" with "play offs".
2 questions spring to mind:
Is TC on the board?
If not, what professional coaching qualifications do the board have to back up this claim?
Personally I tend to agree with him, but Kinnears comments about players as if he is some authority on the subject when in reality is is a marketer, is grating more and more.

Maybe he’s just relaying what TC has told him?
Not sure what to make of those comments... sounds like the board are passing the buck here and will be indirectly pointing the fingers at TC in that case..... further evidence that Orta and AR believe TC target still top 6
I get your point though Jonty. Not a Kinnear fan myself. To smarmy for my liking.
Based on the 1st 10 games I spose?
TC was told that 6th was expected. If he fails then it’s up to AR to decide his future. This might happen before the season ends if we are unable to reach that target but at the moment, although 7 points looks like 70, we still have a chance.
Top ten will do for me as long as we are building for a push next season. Remember it’s a five year plan.
Stoopo, I have consistently said that I felt that top six was a foolish comment for AR to make, it built unrealistic expectations and we brought in players that nobody had the faintest clue whether they would be able to meet said expectations. Some have shown they have what it takes (Saiz), others not (Klich) and most the jury is out on.
I agree we should see this season as a part of a more long term plan (five year plan?) and whilst promotion this year would have been nice it isn't the be all and end all. I have said many times that we need to get to the end of the season see where we are and plan accordingly.
What concerns me is that we cannot say at this point that we are building for a push next season, we are clearly going backwards still.
How will we know that the plan is working because from where I am sitting it appears not to be.
A statement like that exposes the inexperience of the board.
The rest of us can see and have seen for some time that it’s not
Reminding me of Haigh the more I hear from him. All about the spin.
Top six???? Top ten will do?????
WAKE UP!!!!
On current form, bottom 3 and League One looks more likely!!!
Rob, I felt the same to a degree, but Kinnear actually has some football experience and doesn’t claim to be from beeston.
When I say football experience I mean redesigning badges for other clubs and trying to justify to fans why they put their ticket prices up.
A true footballing man.
