Thought drive was boring as fack personally. I get there were subtleties to it, but I guess I wasn't in the right headspace at the time of watching.

Drive is facking brilliant. Soundtrack, acting, chase scenes, story. Excellent film.

Wasn’t a great fan of lost in translation though great performances, and cloud atlas was interesting but mental.

One of my favourite indie films of recent years is Frank, but again it might not be for everyone!

I loved little Miss Sunshine. Funny and heartwarming = perfection.

....I don't even know where to start, honestly, if you consider those the best "indie films".

Don't forget the genius that is Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

If it counts as an indie movie then the Usual Suspects was my favourite

If you just put indie films into google it comes up with Blair With, Reservoir Dogs, Terminator and Pulp Fiction as suggested movies.

So I’d go for Pulp Fiction

Do not bother. It is terrible.

I really liked it

Indie films are independently made movies.

I enjoy them more sometimes as they tend to focus more on plots and storylines, unlike some of the bigger production companies

Fack knows what an indie film really is these days, but if you haven't seen them already:

The way way back, probably my favourite film ever

Hunt for the wilderpeople, on netflix and excellent

Whiplash, purely for the last 20 minutes which is the best / most intense ending to a film I've seen

Whiplash is brilliant.

Whiplash was a great fil even if it does go completely against what Jazz actually is. So much was made of him getting his timing exactly spot on and being perfect which is kinda the exact opposite philosophy of jazz. Its all about doing what comes naturally for you and what your emotions drill up. Its very instinctive jazz and certainly not the over rehearsed perfectionism that is portrayed in the film. Fantastic on screen performances however. Im not overly keen on that Miles Teller but he was excellent.

I really like Miles Teller, good in that Boxing one where he's paralysed, he's a good actor.

Obviously should have stayed clear of Fantastic 4 though
