I saw Bellerin's post-match interview and I noticed he was wearing an earring. I know it's only a little thing but it shows to me where some of your players are at, and where Wenger is at. They don't take the club seriously enough, and Wenger doesn't make them aware of it enough.

Yeah I noticed that too. I suppose the time he had to put that on would have been the time for selfies had they won. That’s not a wum that’s a serious comment.

The club is too cheap? We have spent £50m+ on two players and gave another wages of £350k a week. Even Man City players are not on that much money.

Wenger will have one season left in the summer. So its either extend him or sack him. And two seasons out of the top 4 is not something Arsenal can afford with Spurs building a new stadium. Its business. I am quite sure Wenger will be gone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We also have £200m cash reserves untouched and a tiny net spend.

Where you saying this when we outclassed them at home. Shut up you idiot they had home advantage and were the better team just like every big 6 team would be at home.

Can anyone name one big six team who have not been dominant at home against a big six rival? Apart from city at old Trafford, I'm struggling

So what? There used to be two accusations against Arsenal.

1) They don't spend big transfer fees.
Abumeyang and Lacazette both cost £50m+. Thats more than Chelsea, Spurs transfer records.

2) They don't spend on wages.
£350k a week for Ozil is more than any City, Chelsea or Spurs player gets paid.

So we do spend now. The problem is the manager and his incompetent tactics. Aubameyang is a world class player. This is not Giroud who was being asked to take a step up and lacked pace.

When you have the pace Aubameyang why the feck are you trying to play the ball to his feet? Spurs have crowded the midfield, pushed up their defenders forced themselves onto our midfield. Why are we trying to pass from the back when one long ball over the midfield would allow Aybameyang a clean run on goal with no Spurs players able to catch him?

Incompetent manager!

lol. I can name a thousand good players that wore earings. Thats not the problem.

I dont think we are too far behind Liverpool & Spurs even as horrible as we are. Those 2 teams are handicapped by their ability to spend on world class players hence will always be there about.

Its City that will be the problem. The way they are going even if we change managers we will still struggle to catch them.

Godfather once again trying to find excuses for another dismal display. 1 shot on target in 90 mins of football with all that attacking talent is unacceptable, don't fecking care who or where we're playing.

Its not excuses it's fact. A big top side should always be favourite at home regardless who they are playing.

Easy to point at one shot but spurs had similar stats to us in first half would have been a complete different game if the linesman hadn't cheated yet again and ruled aubameyang offside when he was one on one. In fact in second half almost every one of our attacks the flag went up with at least two of them being wrong calls (the others wernt shown) small margins like that will change games where there is not much to separate the teams

Absolutely serious because Wenger continues to play the same way at home and away. Man City don't have a problem. In fact most good teams don't because they can counter attack. Whats the excuse of poor away performances against the rest of the league?

So you have to examine what the opposition is doing to us when they play at home. Teams obviously attack more compared to when they play at the Emirates. And we can't hack it. If teams attacked us at more at the Emirates would we be fighting relegation because we can't play counter attack football?

Why were we overplaying at the back yesterday trying to build an attack from the goalkeeper when all we needed was high tempo counter attacks with quick ball. That means getting the ball forward to the striker with the least number of passes. Not overplaying!

Why are we trying to play like Giroud was still on the pitch through slow focal point build up play? When a ball into the acres of space that Spurs were leaving behind their backline could have been attacked by Aubameyang?

Why can't Wenger see it? Whats he doing for £10m a year when any supporter can easily spot the problem.

Well said that man !!!

Exactly.
I was baffled by that as well.
We have the quickest player out there in Auba and Wenger is playing him like Giroud.
One dimensional football without any substance.

Mate have you just started watching football? You don't realise the psychological impact of playing home vs away? Every single team has a better home record than away and has done pretty much 99. 9% of the time. Its not some new thing that only applies to wenger. It's not too much to do with teams attacking us but more to do with the fact the home opposition is boosted by the crowd and familiar surroundings whilst the away fans are intimidated. Can't believe I'm having this conversation

Please dont use city as an example, they are a class apart perhaps in the world at the moment.

Jesus. Read my comment again.

Wenger is the one who says it should NOT matter whether you play at home or away.

My point is that it does matter and the best teams that do well away are the ones who are very good at counter attack.

And by the way. I was born and still live in north London. I've had a season ticket since 1985 and I am a small ex-shareholder at Arsenal.

Before you question my credentials again.
