Barry has triple the amount of PL appearances that Wolves have.

Just saying.

This is a strange one. You're championing a Premier League geriatric who, as part of your policy of recruiting has-beens, has played a large part in your demise. You may as well sign up Denis Law if you want that kind if thing. ) I understand he's still breathing.

I prefer the Wolves approach, with exciting players like Neves (20), with Champions League experience, Jots, and Costa. Many years of top football ahead of them. Of course Alan Partridge will have his own methods, but he's acquired 2 fewer points over his 12 games than Pulis did in his last 12 games.

I hope you manage to stay up, but it is looking hugely unlikely. Aha!

BBC website says Partridge has a new series lined up. He's covered, should you go down.

You’re not wrong, Tino.

Good performance from Chelsea. Still enough games for you to finish next to bottom, and not totally bottom.

I’m not bitter about it though, it’s just our time to go.

It is.

But it needn't have been.

The Baggies have a decent first XI - better than several of the teams above them. But with TP in charge.. too much damage had been done before Pardew rocked up.

For instance, you could see - early on - that the number of goals being conceded in the last 10 minutes was going to be a fatal flaw. Teams just dont do that unless there is something fundamentally wrong. And, for me, it was TP's training. Players were wilting after 80 minutes.

There's much more to training than running and carrying a sack of spanners! But TP lost sight of that.

Likewise Pardew had too much to do, because it was always going to take 6 to 10 games to restore the players stamina AND get them a desire to play the game again.

With other clubs nicking wins... writing. on. wall.

But that's football. Win some. Lose some.

Partridge won fewer points than Pulis over the last 13 games. How is that an improvement?

I’m a Wolves fan by birth, so 69 years standing and there is no love lost between me and you Baggies but to be fair I still think you have a chance.

Tonight’s game was never going to decide that but you have some games coming up where you can get a fair few points, close the gap nd gain momentum.

Outside the Big Six and Leicester on a good day there is nothing to choose between the rest of the Premiership - like you lost to Southampton but generally are you really any better or worse?

Surprised some of you seem to be throwing in the towel while you still have so many of your relegation rivals to play, mostly at home.

They’ve got no fight left in em Mango, messrs Pulis and Pardew have knock the stuffing out of em.

Unfortunately, 8 years of doing nothing has ground them down, and an ageing squad won’t help next year. Jeremy had the right idea and jumped ship taking all the dosh with him....well done Jeremy

Not much has changed. We've merely got another of our tougher games out of the way.

Hello! I'm guessing you're new to football. So I'll have a shot at explaining...

Football has many aspects. Just one of which is "entertainment". For most fans, entertainment is about watching your team try, have a few shots on goal.. that kind of stuff. And in that respect, for example, Pardew has been a huge improvement on TP.

Some fans, however, just prefer points to entertainment. And for such fans, it is true, Pardew has not been an improvement on Pulis.

You see, in a way, football is like life: whether you are having a good time or a bad time largely depends on how you - as an invidual - view the world!

I appreciate it can be difficult to grasp all that. But, hopefully, that will help you get a bit more from the game?
