Every game he has played he had looked head and shoulders the best defender on the park, he wins every header, hardly ever gives the ball away, he is ice cool and leads the back line

we all know defensively that Migs, Moreno and Lovren are the weakness. Take em out and replace with much better quality and we look solid.

Once Keita comes in and of course Clyne is bcak we will be even better. Keita will add energy in closing down and Clyne is just more experienced.

With just the CL and league we "should" make top 4 and for this season thats progress, back to back top 4 finishes and we are in for 2nd...

CL could be a dark horse if teams come and attack us we will hurt them we have a great record against strong opposition.. who knows how far we could go now we have VVD

Huge contrast between today's game and the game against Spurs. It looked at times today that the team were preservIng their energy. Last Sunday they'd ran themselves into the eco in the first half, and by the second half had nothing to offer.

Great result today.

VVD may not have come out the Spurs game well because of the penalty incident but prior to that, he was the best player on the pitch, just as he was for the derby.

He was also the best last night. He won 90% of the balls into the box.
