Maybe he’ll fight a karate champion next but at boxing, or a judo master.

Tommy fury is trash just don’t see it at all
Jake Paul is actually half decent
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's the thing with Paul, isn't it? People dislike him because of who he is and how he's come to the fore. But in terms of his athleticism, dedication and natural ability, the guy is capable. He isn't just in it to be a sideshow, he's dedicated to being as good as he can be. You have to respect that, if not the man himself.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe he should fight an actual Boxer next then if he’s serious about it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well Tommy Fury is an actual boxer, as lowly as you may rate him. And he's been boxing all his life. Being willing to fight him was in itself a brave move. I'm not saying Paul would be able to beat a world class boxer and I'm sure he himself is aware of that but he is willing to fight trained guys who have been doing it for most of their lives.
Paul is definitely serious about boxing but he's not serious about fighting legitimate boxers. I respect him for taking up the sport and actually getting in the ring but it's obvious he's using these fights as a way to generate revenue. However, it's worth noting that his involvement in the sport is bound to have brought new fans to it, which is always a good thing.

he is yet to really fight a fighter who is active, yet to fight anyone who is not even in his prime but close to it. He is yet to box someone who boxes. When he does fight boxer he will awful and without a punch. You can 100% guarantee he will avoid anyone who can bang.
Another boring predictable boxing result
Bovil was good. Canelo was shiite.
And no way was that a 2 round fight win for Bovil.
Was at least 5 rounds
It was more like 117-111 I agree. Canelo bit off more than he could chew.
Excellent from Bivol, too good but also too big. Further evidence why Usyk Fury would be ridiculously stupid
Shocked they give points decisions against Canelo
Well they gave him his customary 4 rounds for free so scorecards were about right <laugh

----------------------------------------------------------------------
After Golovkin clearly beat Canelo in their first fight but didn't get the decision I didn't think I'd ever see another occasion when Canelo lost on the cards.
Bivol was too big, too strong and too disciplined. His footwork and patience were brilliant and he picked his moments so well. Canelo tried to unsettle Bivol early but he couldn't get past the tight defence. Fair play for Canelo for trying to achieve greatness but this was on step too far. Bivol showed his class and showed why there are weight classes in boxing.
Also, I think we can rule out Canelo winning a HW title

This was too wide a decision for Bivol to lose. I had it 8-4 Bivol and that was being generous to Canelo.

Agree with this except I'm not sure that weight class can be blamed too much on the defeat as Canelo has already fought and won at this weight. Canelo looks natural enough at 175 and his power certainly transferred for Kovalev, it's not as if he jumped up a couple of weight classes for this.
Having watched extended highlights of the fight Bivol outfought him fair and square with a jab that Canelo will be having nightmares about. Canelo got beat up during parts of the fight and Bivol didn't have a mark on him at the end. That says a lot about Bivol's defensive work in this fight as well. All round a great offensive and defensive performance from him.
Will be very interested to see if there's a rematch. Canelo would be wise to avoid it and fight 40 year old GGG instead.
Canelo will go for Golovkin next, which should be a nice and easy win to get the casual fan back on his side.
Heard that Bivol wants to come down to 168 to rematch Canelo and fight for all his belts. Now that's a super fight with everything at stake. Seriously doubt Canelo goes for that though.

Canelo wins that fight for me. In fact, I think Canelo beats Bivol in a rematch, although not in the way most think. I simply believe Canelo would get the decision from the judges because he was 1 round away from getting a draw in this fight.
The alternative is for Bivol to KO him, which isn't happening.
I hope Bivol fights the winner of Beterbiev/Smith.
Anybody watch Buatsi vs Richards?
Great domestic fight but I can't see either man beating Bivol or Beterbiev.
Babic fight was great too
Yarde Buatsi needs to happen next
