Why isn't Frimpong playing?
Interesting to see Santos start. What that may mean for Gibbs, I don't know. Feel that team should be good enough to win, but a lot will depend on whether Gervinho and Arshavin are having good days.
Surprised that Santos is getting a debut against a team as physical as Blackburn, I would have left Gibbs in after playing pretty well against Dortmund.

To be fair, Santos looks more of a unit than Gibbs. I think he can look after himself.
Why would you play Gibbs against a physical team? Lets field Van Basten, Van Persie, Robben, Ramsey, Diaby, Ledley King and Hargreaves while we're at it.
What I meant is that a trip to Ewood Park is not the ideal place to make your debut when you have been playing in foreign leagues your entire career. Look how Kossy got on there last season.
