I think we will bring in a couple of wing backs but that doesn’t necessarily mean Doherty has no future. I think he has looked much better than Douglas in recent months. After that golden spell around the Bristol City game where he could do no wrong with dead balls, I think Douglas has been a bit disappointing.
We need to get Boly signed up and one more centre back. Then someone to play alongside Neves and the marquee striker signing we have been waiting for.
But towards the top of my shopping list in the summer would be a top keeper. Certainly wouldn’t want to rely on Ruddy in the top flight
I'm sure we'll try to secure another RWB when promoted and, if possible, one as good or better than Doc. However, I'm a bit surprised to hear that people assume he won't make the grade. I'm not a great aficionado of Premier League teams but I'd be surprised if most of them had a better RWB than Doc, on the contrary I think there would be several teams that would take him at the high level now.
For me, along with Coady, Doc has been a revelation this season. His defending has improved and he must have been involved in several goals himself.

Is anyone going to Preston this weekend?
I imagine DJ is. Can’t think of anyone else. They would have said if they were.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, train for us & meeting some Blackpool Wolves up there - not going from Wolverhampton platform 1 though (yes 1 is the 1st one as you go in not as previously stated)

Yes but there's on to the left of it (looking northwards). I believe that's where the Shrewsbury train departs from.

You're right - Platform 5 - won't bother me as I get on at Crewe they are numbered 1-4 as you walk into the station so 1 is right on the main entrance exit, I also think that there's another platform to the right for trains to planet Tipton & beyond
From the Express & Strar - I wonder what he could mean by this comment (given the home game quotes about discipline earlier)
Defender Tommy Spurr shares Barkhuizen’s bullishness.
“Anyone that knows us as a group and knows the gaffer, knows we’ll have a go at them and it won’t be an easy game for them,” he said.
“I’m sure they’ll know they’ve been in a game afterwards. We’re going in looking to win the game. They’ll be aware of that as well. They’re coming to our ground.
“Hopefully we can get after them at the weekend and put a dent in their title hopes.
“We’ve done our work on them this week with the gaffer and the lads will carry out exactly what he says.”

By the way I regularly get trains back Cymru from Wolvo. Platform 1 is the one you walk on to fom the outside, they are then numbered 2, 3 and 4 as you cross the bridge. Just to confuse everyone, platform 5 is round the corner from platform 1 on the left as you enter.

So they were originally going to Spain for a week then cut it back because they got through to the next round of the cup. Seems like it was as big a shock to them as everyone else that they beat Liverpool.
