Apparently a kids film. The follow up was even worse, starts with scientists trying to drown a dog in a lab, ends with no one knowing if they survive. Inbetween they help blow the only nice person in the films head off with a shotgun. Kids film.

People seem to get more upset when animals die on films rather than humans.

Marley & Me, I am Legend etc.

Don't recall ever crying at a film to be honest, but some programs like 24 hours in A&E or the baby one that the Mrs has on are sometimes a hard watch.

Apparently one Easter Sunday Watership Down was televised for the kiddies and drew so much outrage. Rabbits getting slaughtered at Easter bunny time hahaha!
