Sandy it’s not even rotation, it’s attempting to rest the ENTIRE first team. A policy that has consistently failed to produce results.
It’s such a shame Poch treats this competition with such contempt, it’s not as if he (or we) have trophies coming out of our ears.
This nonsense must stop.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You want Poch to play the strongest eleven every single game though, with no rotation whatsoever. At least Sandy is open to some rotation.
Do you realise how many injuries we'd get and how many players would be asking to leave if we stuck with the same eleven for every game?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’re almost into March, the business end of the season, if we don’t stop pi$$ing around we will end up nothing AGAIN.
Decide what’s more important, winning a trophy or the players rest/potential injuries.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I said a while back Sizzle that Poch had to start nailing down his best XI and basically other than injuries try to stick to the team through every competition, now the business end of the season is coming up, or at worse just make two or three changes. But what do we get nearly into March and the team is changing week on week with massive amount of personnel changing at one time. No wonder the defence has not looked so strong for a while now, constant tinkering is all but ruining all the full backs for a start.

As I said yesterday, the Spurs squad is strong, but you cannot just play them all together it don`t work. Mix up five or six with say five absolutely nailed on first teamers, and you will see the transformation.

So when do we play our b listers if we can't do it against Rochdale?
Just think of the money Newport and Rochdale are making out of us in an era where nowhere near enough money filters its way down to the tier 3/4 clubs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs should not really be in the business of making extra money for other teams. They should be trying to get through domestic cup matches with as little fuss as possible.
The B listers will have to await their turn. They have already had plenty of chances this season to prove themselves, and failed on most occasions, West Ham at home in the the league cup was another failure.
You cannot just play them because it seems the right thing for them to be playing, they have to earn the right to play, as yet most of them are way of the pace of even playing in games like yesterday.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane earned the right to play in our Europa team so it can be done. If the b listers don't get the chance to show what they can every so often surely they will become demotivated?

You completely miss the main point- Poch doesn’t care about the FA Cup!
His objectives are to ensure the club finishes in the top four and we have a good Champions League campaign to enhance our brand globally
Accordingly he will put out a completely new XI and doesn’t mind if it goes to a replay as that generates further revenues for the club and he gets to give game time to his squad players to keep them happy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He may not do, but I am sure 95 per cent of the supporters do. What is the point of supporting a club, if they are not going to take any competition seriously? He will only get away with sneaking replays for so long, if Spurs do beat Rochdale and then go to Swansea or Sheff Wed with a similar team as yesterday`s, then Spurs will almost certainly get dumped out of the cup.
Poch needs to win a trophy first, before he can arrogantly start deciding what and which competitions to target.

Yes on their 1st half performance they deserve a replay and I agree that it will be a relatively comfortable win.
Palace:
Lloris
Aurier Toby Vert Davies
Dier Dembele
Moura Dele Eriksen
Kane
Rochdale:
Vorm
Trippier Toby Vert Rose
Wanyama Sissoko
Lamela Eriksen Son
Kane
i would have started Kane and Lamela yesterday but other than that poch picked players i would have. it was good enough to win the players were just half arrsedd and it happens everytime. we dont know even if we starting the first XI if we would have won anyway. but it echo's my point of the importance of eriksen..just take him out and the team would be no better off than when you make 11 changes.

We wont need Kane in the replay at Wembley against Rochdale.
But we do need to replace Trippier and Winks..
If Kane don’t play then any 3 of Eriksen, Dele, Moura & Lamela behind Son. We can’t risk playing with 10 men in the replay.
Rotation worked well for City tonight.

I would play the exact same starting 11 for the replay with the words you got us into this mess now get us out of it ringing in their ears.
They are a group of Internationals earning millions of pounds and Poch should remind them of that.

I think we will win the replay regardless of what side we put out. Rochdale will tire on that Wembley pitch, it's knackering if your not used to it, and they won't have a partisan home crowd behind them. We do have to congratulate them for yesterday, they were far better than some of the Orem teams we have faced this year, Stoke at home springs to mind

Shouldn`t have needed him in the first game, but we did.

“ Pep at Man City seems to have it completely spot on.”
That sentence didn’t age well

Kinda fun to see City camped out in the Wigan penalty area, peppering their goal and getting nuthin in the net.
Reminded me of Spurs before harry Kane!
