Have a read see what you think, also how many times did he get niggles and come back and take like 3, 4 or 5 games to get back to his best..

There is no denying that he is a top quality player who most teams would love to have but we somehow have managed to take losing him in our stride.

I suspect the addition of VVD has helped to soften the blow.

Yeh I agree when West Ham scored today just say before VVD and with Coutinho how many times in the past has a comfortable lead turned into a draw.. Aftee they scored we took the sting out the game controlled things easy passes at the back no panick. I guess that’s the biggest improvement since he came in..

Who?

Not yet, but let's not pretend losing a top quality player is a good thing

We stil do miss him. But we are playing well lets see at the end of the season if we finish top 4. But Ox and others are stepping up plus Lallana to come back to full fitness and get games.

A good share Coutinho's responsibility to make goals has been divided between the front 3, making it hard to really miss him. Liverpool is ofcourse a better side with him, but I don't think the team has suffered much in terms of goals and creativity.

big games played in his absence

.......

hmmmm..

last game 30th dec v Leicester 2-1 win

burnely 2-1 win
Everton FA cup 2-1 win
City 4-3 win
swansea 0-1 loss
W Brom 2-3 loss FA cup
Huddersfield 3-0 win
Spurs 2-2 draw
southampton 2-0 win
porto hand 5-0 win
west scam 4-1 win

.......

so.... Can you REALLY tell that we are missing him or not.

out of cup, one loss and 2 big games where we were better side but let teams back in. 4 points gained there.

Lots of handy enough league games we've won al well.

Looks to me par for course and i haven't seen any sudden better balance or flow of goals for or against.

We miss the skills and the set pieces and will miss him in a big game.

The team has 3 total forwards to rely on and all 3 play. thats the big issue from now til may.

we need to rely on a bit of luck to not have any injuries or fatigue.

City imploded in 5 mins against us to get us to 4-1. Spurs were dominated but we were 1-10 then faded badly.

the rest of the games have been "fine"
