Nev's Mondays Marhez Moment

Yes, I'm sure the 'Mahrez haters' were devastated we got a point.

Are there any Mahrez haters apart from in Nev's World?

I think most people have sympathy for his predicament even if they don't agree with some his actions. It didn't sound like there were many haters in the ground on Saturday and I think most have put it behind them. (Partly because there's no creativity in the rest of the squad.)

True Dat the real fans who can see past the press storm never did it was a joyous moment in and otherwise poor performance.
Look at the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea,West we aren't the only team under performing.

I guess by haters Nev would be talking about posters who labelled Mahrez’s inclusion on the bench against Man City “disgusting”

Well the squad and management team have clearly put it behind them judging by their reaction to the equaliser.

Time to move on nev.

Incidentally, I was urging him to cross it because his record of shooting from set pieces is patchy at best. That shut me up.

I was hoping he’d score, just so I could laugh at all them twots who leave early blocking your view on the way!

I hate Mahrez....

.... not getting close enough to Vardy in the current system.

I like him scoring last minute equalisers though. Just a shame we’re in a rotten run of form and have no wins in 6 now. Relegation form.

Must do better.

In fact, I hate Mahrez so much, I booed the goal and threw my season ticket on the pitch as a protest.

Seriously speaking, is there a single City fan out there that dislikes Riyad Mahrez, let alone hates him after all he’s done for this club??

I took him almost immediately because of his pure zest and was proud to see him in the national team colours during the 2014 World Cup. Whether the announcement was on the radio or over the television during those World Cup matches on balmy summer evenings, the very mention of “and it’s Riyad Mahrez of Leicester City moving forward...” brought out a mild shiver, it really did.

I’ll forgive him for his recent outbreak of petulance.

I would say that TB dislikes Mahrez downsouf.

downsouf - I have to admit, when I see Nev posting "Take that, haters!" it is starting to remind me of an angry man shouting at pigeons in Town Hall Square.

Sorry Dunge. I wasn't there for long. And those bloody pigeons were really getting on my t!ts.

Yes chaps, I hear you. I must be the only one here who glances through team photographs of the City sides from the late 1940’s onwards. All the smiling faces and all with one ambition in mind-to further the cause of this great, but at times exceedingly frustrating club. I even concentrate on other clubs and try to reel off the names before the caption appears at the foot of the picture. I was peering through the Manchester City side of 1967/68, Chelsea, Cardiff, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Spurs, Arsenal, Wolves and Nottingham Forest squads of bygone eras and surprisingly named just about all the players correctly. Aston Villa wasn’t quite so easy.

Unless they’ve committed a heinous crime forgive them their sins I say, they won’t be with the club forever.

FFS - I only hope for your sake that those pigeons took heed of you in the end. But in my experience screaming "you utter feathery b*stards" at anything is unlikely to generate a positive response.

I my more of a fan of the Falcons at Leicester Cathedral they know how to deal with pigeons.

I can now rest my case on Marhez he's proved his point and then some. Now others need Nev's support trouble is Mondays Musa rhythms but does not work any more!

I think you might be onto a losing battle with Musa.

I suppose it's how efficient you want to be with your time.

You could:

a) Go on a crusade and prove a point against precisely ..... nobody at all
or
b) Just do nothing

Strangely it's almost become quite endearing that it's always the former.
