Shawcross can't be any worse than Mustafi to be fair.

It would be wrong to think Sanchez is regretting his move when he's taking half a million every 7 days but for footballing reasons alone he may be having second thoughts.

I've a feeling he could be yet another attacking flop that United have often had historically.

Need some English grit to help us with our relegation battle next season.

He is absolute garbage. We got rid of him at the right time. His decline has been a joy to watch. Doubt he will even reach 3 goals this season for ManPoo.

That's not really true though is it?

Sanchez hasn't been great for 12 months, although on his day can be a great player he may just have peaked at an early age and is in decline.

Here's hoping anyway.

Ever since Walcott was jettisoned from the first XI we have been crap. With or without Alexis we were poor. It has been the absence of Theo that has really shone bright.

It does make me laugh how players that are either injured or have left us always 'would have made the difference' when they didn't really make a difference while they were here.

Unfortunately, Walcott was on life-support for most of every season. Being a GOOD player is not enough, you must also be AVAILABLE to play!

The Sanchez thing was a no-win situation. Either we had to get rid of him, which we did, or we declined the offers and forced him to stay, and risked a negative attitude that could have affected the already frail dressing room exponentially.

We haven't had a true battler since Vieira, if truth be told, and while you don't replace that kind of player, there are always other options available but we never took them.
