The same site has our 3 best players so far this season, in order, as Curtis Davies, Richard Keogh and Tom Lawrence.
All about opinion I suppose. Except for stats. You cannot argue with the stats.
It's all quite clearly Gary Teale's fault. He's a League One player at best.
Oh and to answer the question originally posed, we were never all that. we're simply finding our place. probably a nudge lower than where we are currently.
remain philosophical guys, it's only football.
If Lawrence was an academy player he would be nowhere near the team, in fact he would be out on loan in some God forsaken place sitting on the subs bench. The poor man is out of his depth at Derby.
Cameron Jerome
We are better than we currently are, current form were relegation candidates over a season, but were nowhere near as good than our position was over Christmas
The worrying thing is that weve recently played a lot of other teams that were in shocking form and not beat them
I couldnt see us making top 6 when we were 2nd a few weeks ago, I dont even think it will be close
https://youtu.be/d1gYJDQXPOk I did warn you lot Months ago๐
i would also like to draw attention to the fact I answered this question some months ago, but not many people saw fit to reply to my insight and spectacular knowledge either.
cough 666 cough late to the party
At some point it's going to rain, and when it does I'm going to get straight on here and tell you all that I warned you about it ages ago. That'll learn you all.

Yep, I thought we would win, but we didn't. You've made me look proper foolish there, Wassa.
And me. Which is very worrying

Keogh's been propped up by the previously immaculate form of Carson behind him, Davies alongside him, and Ledley in front of him. Now he's being asked to defend again he's been found wanting, just like in every other season since he joined the club.

And you stick to what you know best, and that’s not football

I've got a lot of time for this guy and his stats, and he says Carson Keogh and Vydra are by some measures at least, amongst the top championship players.
I'm fairly certain the only thing you can't argue with is popularity
Naturally I respect your opinion, 666. For me Carson, Davies and Keogh were terrific until recently when all three have shown a dip in form. Over the season as a whole I would still have those three, Vydra and Huddlestone as our best players for consistency of performance. Last night it was Johnson's man who scored the equaliser, though how you wish it was Keogh's! The errors which have cost us goals have been spread out amongst the team rather than by one player. But then you know that, really, don't you?
No.
Keogh's the captain, he should make sure BJ doesn't fall over at critical times, and that.
There’s not a lot wrong with the spine of the team it’s players like Johnson Lawrence Huddlestone and a few more what’s the problem๐
My concern is what happens if we don't get promoted.
Presumably Huddlestone, and the other elder statesmen were bought in specifically to get us over the line, and not as long term prospects.
Just wondering quite how many "transitional seasons" we need?
Don't tell me, Wassa - you thought we would take the lead through Weimann but concede a late equaliser. You just forgot to predict though. You stick to what you know best, and that's wondering whether Cyrus Christie is a right-back or not, and whether you can be bothered to stay watching the match until half time or not.
I’m getting the bites like normal right my opinion on Gary Rowett he’s brought too many geriatrics in that’s why the team now is struggling with niggles and backaches ๐ท the excuses are coming out from him now๐

About 4, Heb.
I'm considering making Mel a cheeky offer for my 2021-22 season ticket to get in early, it's gonna be a cracker
I agree with you there Wassa, the team is top-heavy with older players.
Who the hell sits on a 1 goal lead against a very poor team in QPR? Dirty Leeds were poor we couldn’t beat them Sheffield Wednesday were poor we couldn’t beat them, Reading were abysmal and we couldn’t beat them, all we keep hearing from our manager is we’ve got experienced players to get us through games..........where?????????
