It will be interesting to see how we react mentally. If we are up for it sunday or if we look tame.
I want to see us lay a marker and smash bournemouth. It will show us where the team is.
Juve was all pochs fault and the players were let down by him massively but he needs to get them up for this game. He looked lost on the touchline and had no answer. Eddie Howe is the perfect opponent Poch usually has the upper hand.
I would only change 3, dier/wanyama, dele/moura and dembele/Rose into centre midfield.
Dier injured, dele looked leggy, and dembele has to be dropped for his part in the dybala goal.
Rose can play centre midfield, did so earlier in the season needs the game time and it would be unfair to drop Davies who like Son actually looked like he cared wednesday night. I'll be cheering him, son and kane loudest.
Whip Kane off for Llorente if we are looking comfortable aswell. Llorente needs to come on looking classy again but he needs continuous game time.

Rose played in midfield for about 10 mins to plug a gap, not dictate the tempo.
Shocking comment yet again.
Rose played 10 mins in CM to plug a gap and it was no more than that.

One defeat in 18 games in three competitions, first one since mid December and the board is in meltdown, saying Kane will leave, Poch fecked up, change the whole team. Honestly get a grip.
So to summarise:
“Poch was clueless.....we should play Rose in centre midfield”

Funny how we only see you LLM, when something goes wrong
It was not Poch’s fault that the players switched off for 5 minutes and allowed Juventus to take control.
It was not Poch’s fault that the players did not turn our superiority into more goals is it?
As for Rose playing midfield.........he is a shadow of the player from a year ago, and you want to drop a player for one mistake? Really??
You obviously have a problem with Poch, the best manager Spurs have had in decades.
It makes a change from your dislike of McDermott anyway
Rose in CM What you been taking, Acid?
Rose should play LB instead of Davies, who was ordinary against Juve. We have Wanyama, Winks, Sissoko and Dele who can play CM if Dembele and Dier need a rest, and all would do a better job in CM than our left back.
GG, tbf he did want Mark Hughes in as a Poch replacement in his first season !

I don't think him leaving is imminent but I fail to see why he'd sign a longer contract than the one that's got him tied down until 2022. If he doesn't then you can't let a £200m player run into his last two years so at best I'd say we've got him for 1-2 more seasons.
I don't think it's a meltdown to suggest that a player of Kane's quality might have had his head turned. Poch using phrases like "haven't spoken to him about his future and his situation" for me suggests there's something that needs to be discussed.
This is the first time I've had these thought about Kane. I've had this belief that we wouldn't have to worry about him for years but his stock is getting higher and higher and it's clear that the club, whilst progressing, isn't moving as fast as he is. No one can deny that. The fact that he's 'one of our own' is the only reason he's still here after 3 straight seasons as top scorer. See it from his point of view. He could play anywhere in the world he wants.

Again he never said that and what he did said you’ve taken out of context.
The question put to poch
<So Harry hasn't said anything to you about his future>
The answer
< Look, Harry is so disappointed after Wednesday. You think he has time to talk with me about the future? That's impossible. No-one can believe this situation. The players were so focused on beating Juventus, now they're so focused on recovering and being ready again. We're in a position in the table when you need to care, win points and achieve the top four. >

I get that but I'm not basing my comments on anything other than a hunch. Opinion, that's all. Okay, I should have referenced false quotes but it doesn't take away from the fact that if you've got a £200m player on your books and you're paying the 6th highest wages in the league, it stands to reason that you'd better be winning stuff regularly to keep him happy. We're not, yet. So the longer that goes on how long can we realistically keep him?
People make comparisons to Matt Le Tissier in that it's possible for someone of vast talent to love his club enough to stick by them through thick and thin but MLT was a different beast. Very talented but wasn't as driven. Didn't train that hard and consequently didn't have the ambition to go further. Kane is so meticulous with his desire to be the best, it stands to reason sometimes in order to become the best, you have to make difficult decisions.
I just don't think it's that long away. Assuming we don't win anything (hoping that's not the case) he'll give us 1 year at the new place and then there will be frosty discussions with Levy where a possible arrangement will be put in place for him to leave in 2. I just can't imagine a club of our size catching up with a talent like that at the rate he's going.

I’m not stupid enough to think Kane if he carries on like he has will stay forever but I’m not basing that on fake quotes and a fat Spanish twaaat that wants to be relevant.
I’m in no doubt he’ll re-sign this summer and be with us next season. Then after it’s about us progressing on and off the pitch after.

A wum beyond all reasonable doubt. Somehow his comments become more even more ridiculous each time he appears.
If the players can pick themselves up and play the way they did on Wednesday and just put away the chances will be back to winning ways.
Kane is doing fine at Spurs, absolutely no guarantee he would do better if he went to a Madrid or Barca, he could be a massive flop. I think he fits Spurs, not sure he would fit a club like those mentioned.
He seems a grounded fella, that is happy with his lot for a while yet. I cannot imagine him going all Galactico, and putting his hair in a ponytail like Bale did.
I’m all for Rose CM and Son LB
