We do that Backo, Forest press us high up and force us to kick it long and Vydra soon loses interest. If our full backs provided better attacking width then a 4-2-3-1 with Vydra, Lawrence and Palmer behind a main striker would have plenty of creativity.

I hope Palmer can get it how important it is for us to beat Forest. He certainly has to prove himself as a top player for Chelsea.

You watch a different player to me. He’s talented but lazy. Needs to work harder. He left Forsyth very exposed on Tuesday.

Ordinarily I’m content with a draw in this one but it would just keep the winless run going. Too much negativity about amongst supporters: Lawrence, Forsyth, anybody, we seem gleeful in trashing our players, none of whom are actually utterly and completely useless. Saw an interview with Cyrus Christie the other day where he said some Derby fans had it in for him. Against Fulham 2 blokes behind me booed the players on for the second half.

Forest fans epitomise fickleness but we are catching them up in that respect. Players get paid too much but they are still human beings and will play better if they feel the fans are right behind them and not itching for an opportunity to get on their back.

We are in a bad run and have got key players out. On the other hand, Forest are crap and always will be. If we are properly at it we will win. The Rangers vs Celtic match is looking like a decent warm-up for the main event.

Vidal is correct our players are far from rubbish, even the rubbish ones.
There are plenty of negative fans but they are everywhere not just Derby. There’s a bloke sits a couple of rows behind me who moans constantly even when we are winning. He’ll never be pleased as it seems the standard he expects are way beyond those any human is capable of.
But he still gobby that it sometimes ruins my match day experience. I’ve had a go at him as have others around him but he’s not bothered. He just says he’s paid his money and is entitled to his opinion.

We’ll make the playoffs then it’s a lottery but I’d prefer going into them on a bit of a run as opposed to a team just holding on.
