As far as we know there is no proof it was anything to do with Russia?

Our justice system is based on proof, not that cretin pm of ours throwing around accusations and everyone swallowing what she says.

And people say we dont need Trident

Yes, imagine how many people would have been poisoned if we hadn't have spent trillions of pounds on Nuclear arms.

I see the commies on here are getting behind Putin and Russia.

No, I'm getting behind them backing their accusations with some cold hard facts.

im not gonna start believing anything that witch may says without proof.

So how do you want the proof to be presented to the public?

In the form of a lab report many of us won't understand at all and even more of us won't understand fully?

As far as I understand the situation there have been tests conducted which prove the nerve agent is identical to those last known to be synthesized in the Ukraine under the Soviet union.

However if I saw said tests it would likely mean nothing to me as I'm sure it would mean nothing to you too.

The motive is likely to be linked to the upcoming Russian presidential election on Sunday. Although Putin will win easily, there is worry that a lot of people will abstain from voting and thus show Putin up a little. By creating a drive mentality against Britain he is likely to garner greater nationalistic support and thus gain more voters and shut down any inkling of opposition or resentment - it's a classic tactic

It also says to those that will oppose him that they won't be safe hiding in Britain, he can still get them.

We are the obvious target of choice as we have voted Brexit so no longer have wider European support, and our alliance with the US has been strained since Trump came in. We are essentially on our own in this. However we need to act strongly here and be a bit clever, unfortunately though I don't think May is capable.

The Russians are strong at the moment whereas we have no strength whatsoever, we are politically fractured, alienated from Europe and mean jack shiete to the Americans currently. We should be bloody thankful we have trident. Our response needs to be less knee jerk and far more calculated, we can't go at Russia head on

By providing credible evidence, as would be expected if the police were accusing someone of a crime.

The onus is not on Russia to prove there innocence, its on our government to prove their guilt.

Tories in trouble domestically and over Brexit, usual plan let's either start a war or make out that that we are being attacked on all fronts with chemical weapons. So much fuss over such a small incident.

Stabbings and murders going on all over the country, and May getting her knickers in a twist over a Russian spy, who wasn't even taken out.
