3-1 Rovers Marquis and 8500 in attendance
3-1 to Rovers, Beestin if he starts or otherwise Marquis. It seems weather is a little better than forecast a few days ago, so 8250. I can't watch as it is on Sky - Boo-hoo!

Rovers to win 3-1. Marquis first goal scorer. Crowd off 7007.
Marquis, Marosi, Wright, Blair, McCullough, Mason doing OK. Copps not doing much and Kimwomya is just watching. If he is supposed to be fast why does he just stand around?
Dreadful first 45 minutes. Unless I am mistaken our first shot on goal was 44m 45secs. Bradford were unlucky not to get two. Second half, same players but 3-5-2, with Mason on the right of a back three, and they were transformed. They wrestled the game away from Bradford and a brilliant cross from Mason of all people landed on Marquis's head for the first around 75mins. As the game went into 4 mins of injury time I was probably not alone in expecting an equaliser and yet after a quick break and pass from Beestin Marquis slotted a second through the goalie's legs. Obviously Marquis was MoM but you have to give a nod to the defence. Immense defence.
Game changed when Beestin came on. An inspired change and only one winner once he got on the ball. He and Whiteman as soon as they got the ball just drove at the Bradford defence. Something we struggled to do in the first half and away at Southend the other week. Another 4 points or 2 wins over bank holiday will see an away day in Sunderland next season 👍🔴⚪🔴
It was so obvious that Kiwomya was and has always seemed to be completely out of his depth that the change was the obvious, rather than an inspired option. Beestin, like most of the front line, Marquis excepted, was well contained, but he gave the defence problems with his mobility, whereas Kiwomya does not seem to have any idea of what he should be doing.
As DF said (I think) there was no width in the first half and the system adopted failed to penetrate the Bradford lines. Mason broadened what we had on the right, Blair continued to press up his wing and there were some good passing moves, often only lateral, but in the end Mason, Copps, Beestin and MoM Marquis provided some much needed icing on the cake.
Who edits the "highlights"? The Beeb stats said we had 52% possession, but the highlights indicated we had about 10% but scored. I know the first half was bad, but to me the highlights give a distorted image. Maybe those at the games think the highlights are right.
I'm pleased for Marquis as I had not been a fan earlier in the season. Talk about a bullet header! And one-on-one, the GK will spread, and so go straight at him on the ground. I think Marquis can become our final savour for remaining in League One. Let the goals continue!
Thanks 4 the reports lads
I suppose highlights equal goal attempts and Bradford had more in the first half. In the second we were the better side, but build-ups which lead to no shot and good possession (with not much passing backwards this time) will be excluded.
IMO we were second best in the first half but grew in stature after the break.
By changing players positions around after the interval to where they should have been from the start we began to perform and on the second half showing, deserved to win the game.
MoM by a mile was Marquis.
Two good strikers finishes and another 100% effort.
Also disciplined enough( to avoid the booking that would have brought him a two match ban.
Superb ball in by Mason for the first goal.
The patient passing leading up to the cross was a delight after listening to the idiots around me demanding a shot or a lumped ball into the box during the build up.
Sideways passing isn’t always negative.
McCullough had a great first half, consistently winning the ball.
He did misplace a few passes but so did everyone else on both sides.
Good to win the game as it was becoming vital that we picked up three points to pull away from the bottom four.
Tonight’s win by Fleetwood and a point for Northampton mean that we are still only six points clear though so it is far from over with nine games to go.
Thanks.
2nd day in plaster driving me nuts.
