All sounds very civilized but if we miss out on top 4 & or don't win the Cup moving into that stadium without Champs League... This summer could be a nightmare
Bertrand is good but 28/29 now, Shaw would be the better, long term choice and I bet he would jump at the chance.

It all depends on who leaves....
If Toby goes, I would like a other CB. Preferably a left-footer though, as we have a severe imbalance with Jan v Toby, Sanchez, Foyth and Dier.
If Rose goes, I would like another LB. I would love us to sign Shaw, as I feel Poch would work his magic there.
If there is any chance of signing Sessegnon, then we should be all over it. I would be prepared to let him stay at Fulham for another season.
Other than that?
I think Zaha in would be my preference. He would take the place of Llorente , and also free up Lamela and Eriksen to bolster us deeper.
For me it would mean Sissoko is surplus too.
I am happy with Trippier as backup to Aurier for now, (I feel Aurier will kick on next season. I would like to see what KWP can do at a club that plays football, with a view to him taking his place in our squad next Summer.
We are at a point where it is very difficult to do better than what we have, in the main
i also think aurier will kick on next season, what about the left b from psg, looks decent on the limited times i seen him
i hope we sign anyone who isnt Zaha

I think the plan is
Try to win every game - simple plan really
With the squad right now assuming toby & Rose stay:
Out:
Llorente
Janssen
Nkoudou
In:
CM > a pure number 8 B2B Midfielder
Attacker > Either another AM or ST
If Toby leaves we need another ready to go CB and if Rose goes another ready to go LB
Not too much hopefully, just an upgrade in quality on those who don’t cut it.
OUT
Llorente
Nkoudou
Sissoko
Janssen
Vorm or Gazzanigga
IN
A young decent homegrown GK
Deep-lying playmaker
No man united rejects or reducing the quality of our squad.

Not really mate, you are far too negative. Whatever happens next season, CL or not, none of the major players will be leaving. There will be a serious assault on the title next season, so no need for any of them to go. CL is not the be all and end for any teams. Plenty do not compete every season. Untied, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal have all missed out recently, that is the nature of the beast when you have half a dozen teams chasing just four places. Spurs have done well to have successive seasons in the CL in the current climate.

No way will Sissoko be leaving. The others all will in all probability. Sissoko may not be everybody`s cup of tea, but Poch likes him, otherwise he wouldn`t keep involving him in nearly every game this season.
De Ligt will cost too much, think we will be priced out of signing him.
For me:
Out - Nkoudou, Llorente, Janssen
In - Sessegnon (with the view of him being Rose's backup and we move Davies to be a CB long term, think he is stylistically similar to Vertonghen).
Rondon (may be unpopular but PL proven, great plan B and link up play etc)
Long term Dembele replacement, Lemina, Serri, Allan a few options

How good is De Ligt? See him mentioned all the time but haven’t seen much myself?
2 years younger than Foyth is there much comparison?
Not really sure, but was listening to TFC - The Extra Inch earlier with Priya Ramesh who seems quite a level headed Dutch football expert and she thinks he will go all the way to the top (Barca/RM level) and thinks Frenkie De Jong is nowhere near as good as people make out (to balance things out).

I listened to that one too
She essentially said De Jong is a midfielder, and the amount of time Ajax are allowed on the ball allows him to play like one, and the other kid De Ligt is a more complete defender.
She did big up Janssen on TFC in 2016 though
Do you listen to The Totally Football Show? James Richardson hosts, and Michael Cox is often on there. Good listen, good guests

All I do is listen to podcasts these days, big fan of Michael Cox. I would a million percent recommend the series of podcasts "The Mixer" which where a sort of preview for his book. Very interesting.
I like the Totally Football show guests but am unsure of the host. Similarly I like the Guardian host (Max Rushden) yet sometimes the guests are hit and miss and I find Glenndenning insufferable at times. My favourite Spurs only podcast is The Tottenham Way.
Dutch league is a bit of a mine field tbh there’s obviously loads of talent yet to find the ones that can make it in Prem straight away is hard.
I like the fighting c()ck podcast.
Particularly the gangster intro to Windy's segment on the loan watch and youth teams. Urban, aggressive, in your face intro music...then Windy, the geekiest, feeble voice kicks in straight after. Always makes me Simple pleasures
I stopped listening to FC about halfway through last season.
Go to much of speaking rubbish than actual speaking Tottenham.
Yeah I know what you mean. At times it can be like listening in on 3 geezers convo in a pub but I do like the usual guests on there, it's not too snobby / pretentious with tactics etc...just enough of that without too much detail and I like Windy's updates.

Yeah I love a podcast.
I listen to the Marcotti Times one, Totally Football, and both FC podcasts footballwise.
I suppose you could also put Athletico Mince in that category, but it would be a stretch. Funny, man
