In all seriousness though I feel like if we can get organised again, this team has a good a shout as anyone else between Cardiff and Preston.

The only weakness is out wide, think we miss JR's workrate - shooting ability and final ball here.

Injuries might play a part too especially in CM.

BJ's close control (and passing) is a disgrace too. How the feck did he become a pro? He's stealing a living and a bleedin' good one at that.

He tries hard BJ just don't think he's quite a CM and not quite a left midfielder. Good in the air and a good shot on him when he connects with it, seems to put the effort in and fancy him in a 50/50 if the player is within 5 yards of him.

Gary Rowett's substitutions made things worse. Palmer was busy but not effective. He might as well have brought on Luke Thomas at the end. At least it would give the lad a bit of experience and the Sunderland defenders wouldn't have troubled him much.

I thought Johnson and Weimann at least weren’t hiding from the ball like some but what they did with it was poor.

Worse than the individual mares was the collective draining of resolve, of ideas, of confidence, of anything. Without Huddz we had nobody who sought to control how the game was played. It was all utterly aimless. Palmer was lively enough but by then the rest had completely gone so he had nobody to play with.

Roll on Monday.

Morning all, important game today.

Lose this one and we can probably kiss the play offs goodbye. Rowett will start to look over his shoulder for Mel's sniper rifle. 2018 hasn't had the best of starts. Win this one and the garden will look somewhat more rosy.
