Where are City?

Arsenal

Please can we stop talking about there being a "top 6". There isn't. Clearly there isn't. It's a top 5 and one has to miss out on the CL. Unfortunately for Chelsea it looks like being them.

It's a ridiculously competitive PL for the top 5 to get in to CL. Last year we were able to get all 5 in due to Man Utd winning the CL. Perhaps Chelsea will have to do that next year too.

Of course they do, Chelsea have got a mountain climb and would also be relying on a collapse from one of the teams in the top four which looks extremely unlikely.

Top 4 race is done.

Early April and the only thing of note left to decide are 2 relegation spots.

Is that true? What about the Europa league spots? Are they sorted yet?

I think you'll find that it's 'shoo in'.

The idea being that all the jockey had to do is say shoo to it and it'll win.

Wrong. It's "shoe in" as the jockeys used to put those horses on leather soled shoes with air bubbles in the tongue for extra comfort. That guaranteed those horse would win, until the shoes were banned in 1923.

the shoes would have to be pretty amazing to "guarantee" that a horse would win.

No because we can still qualify for the CL without having to care about the top 4 trophy

We should be aiming to pip United for second now and knock them out of the cup. Certainly still possible.

They have a fairly easy run in though.

City away, Spurs and Arsenal at home. I beg to differ.

Spurs?

United have a harder run in than us. So I certainly believe we can beat both them and the mousers to second spot.

United only have Arsenal at home to play and their other fixtures are easy. Spurs should finish above the Mousers again though, no problem.

Are you relying on fixture congestion against Liverpool Sandy because their run in is quite easy. Salah's on fire.

We've got to win the FA Cup as well as finish in top 4 this season! There's a good chance both will happen IMO, even better if we win FA Cup!
