I’ve gave my thoughts on the manager situation so won’t go over that again

Agree with most of the rest tho I’d keep Jason holt . It’s ok coincidence he was starting in centre midwhen we went on our best run of the season. Hopefully he’d just be cover tho

Your spot on about dorrans. He is a number 10, should never be playing in the holding central role

Cardoso is finished for me. Yeah he’s relatively young and he seems to get the whole rangers thing but he’s just not good enough . The second goal in last old firm sealed it for me.

Alves is just a donkey, let’s not beat about the bush. Abysmal footballer

Is it ??

Not once did he mention bumming a family member or any beastiality as far as I can see .

How are we supposed to decipher what he's really saying from that pile of tosh.

If I had to read between the lines I suspect he's asking us to come round to his and plough his wife ?

Manager? I doubt if it'll be Murty, barring a dramatic turnaround - which I don't see happening. Beyond that I don't know. I'd consider Clarke, if he's interested.

We're OK for keepers with Foderingham. Alnwick, McCrorie, Kelly. Not a priority.

Defence. I wouldn't keep Martin on. If possible I'd get rid of Cardoso and Alves (who at least is good in the air). I'd look to keep Bates.

Midfield. Goss started well but didn't keep it up. I'd let him go and consider trying for Mulumbu from Killie on a free.

Forwards. Not been all that impressed by Cummings but we'll see how he goes in the rest of the season. I'd like Miller, Herrera and Pena to go. I'd offer Hardie a new deal.

I’d say it’s a certainty Murty won’t get in now. Once the majority of fans turn there’s no hiding place for the board.

Fair comment the OP.

Sometimes a guy can be summed up in a single incident.

When Celtic went down to ten men v Rangers.

BR & Brown had an intense touchline meeting.

Both guys using codes and agreeing by frequent nods.

GM stood alone on the touchline making animated gestures to rouse his

players and fans.

He's a good guy and has been a good servant to Rangers.

He should be kept on in some capacity but now manager.

I'd ideally have Clarke with Murty in as assistant but it'd be dependent on whether Murty would settle for that now.

It’s funny cos i watched Murty pull gers players over and give instructions to them

That one edited clip seems to have fooled fans on both sides. Quite remarkable

Or more likely whether Clark would take it. You have to say from his interviews so far it looks unlikely

Don't think Murty can have any complaints about not getting the job full time, he's been backed in January with 5 or 6 signings and been in the job for 6 months now and is starring at the possibility of finishing 3rd or even 4th.

I presume Cummings and Murphy will be signing on a permanent basis but there's another massive rebuilding job on the cards again, you can't keep doing this every summer

posted on 4/4/18

I suppose his only complaint could be inheriting weak minded players who simply fold when the going gets tough and he’s not had a great time with injuries either

posted on 4/4/18

IE I saw that.

I assume there was no detailed interaction.

Probably C'mon lads we can win this or summat.

Because Rangers didn't change their structure.

Christ knows what they were talking about.

What has Clarke said on it? I haven't seen anything.

As for the Mulumbu shout we should be all over that he's proven this season he can still do a job very well. Perfect option for a defensive midfield option.

Just doesn’t seem interested. By all accounts he’s a killie man as are his wider family

I think it will remain like this for a couple of seasons, we are giving guys a chance measuring them up and then trying to recruit better if they fail.

A sensible way for us to do business as long as we are holding onto the good players we get our hands on.

A number of these guys contracts are up and the players we need to ship out don't really play a part anyway.

Hopefully there have been feelers going out from the club to see if there is interest.

It's a bloody shame Neil Warnock is doing so well, I think he would do very well.

Warnock seems to do pretty well at championship and league one level.

Probably wouldn't be the worst shout as manager.

I just don’t see any outstanding candidates for the job . I don’t see the point in getting rid of Murty for a mcinnes or Wright etc

And for all Clarke has done well at killie he’s been sacked from every other job and not at great clubs either

Steve Clarke for me

We’ve been a mess recently. CB continues to be a problem. Get McCrorie back in and pair him with Bates when fit. Add another good quality CB in summer. Punt Alves Martina and Cardoso

Our main problem is leadership and mental strength. We have no leaders on the park, are very fragile and lack any mental strength.

We have a shed load of injuries and when fully fit we’ve got a decent squad. We need a manager who can galvanize the players and instill a mental strength

Murty lacks the nouse and experience to do so. He’s a nice guy. Nice guys don’t win anything.

We need to be able to alter our tactics from 4-2-3-1 to set up for the occasion or situation. A decent quality striker is needed I’m the summer to add to Morelos and Cummings preferable with some aerial ability

Wes

Tav. McRorie. Bates. John

Candeias. Jack. Docherty. Murphy

Morelos. Cummings

When everyone’s fit. We need two strikers. Our conversion rate is abysmal with one up top

There is a real dearth of plausible candidates.

I don't want Murty to stay though, I like the guy and he would be starting next season with a blade at his throat metaphorically.

Wonder if Arry would fancy it...
