Levy.....£6m per year

Another thing is that Levy's pay includes bonuses whereas players get bonuses on top of their reported salaries. So given the number of goals he has scored and appearances made players like Kane are actually on a lot more than Levy's £6m a year.

He ‘just’ makes more than our highest earner. Kane.

He has performed for us for about 15 years and exceeds club profit sales year after year. Honestly it’s commendable that he was on that little before hand

Man, if i set my own pay, i'd be on 4/5x the next highest earner.

Levy needs applauded.

So if you were a head or boss/director/area director etc of a company and those beneath you were performing well and making money, you’d pay them more than yourself even though you’re their senior leader?

The guy has got us CL football, a new stadium, the best team I've seen in my lifetime, some of the best players in Europe, an incredible coach, and financially sound.

Give the miserable bald ba*tard £12m a year

Levy getting paid this highly is a direct result of us doing well.

He has contributed more than anyone to where we are now.

On that basis, definitely.

No offence to the OP, but using the theory he used, it pays not to be the boss/director/CEO etc because when the money comes in due to the team that work beneath you, you’ll pay them all more than you as they did the legwork

Levy can pay himself what he wants, he is the boss, and he also owns quite a large chunk of the club.

I`ve no problem with the boss being paid more than any of his employees, even though with bonuses some of our players are probably on more anyway.

There’s not a chairman of any business or company globally who earns less than the employees who work effortlessly day in day out to make the company who employ them successful.
That’s the business world we live in.
Levy deserves his pay day, good luck to him

Levy hasn’t got £6m per year, this wage is based on performance related bonuses over the past two years. Fairly standard practise in most big companies.

It has a number of target areas, including position in PL, qualification for CL, profit margins, return on investments and delivery of stadium building targets.

"Bill Gates at Microsoft paid himself $1 per year"

How did he pay his bills on $1 a year.

He sold a little of his stock.
You do know about stock, don't you?

Ted...............................a little of his stock would have netted him around £500m

He also faced huge taxes on anything he took as actual salary, all his "earnings" were in stock options which attract a much lower tax liability
