To think we will only be six places behind them next season

They obviously don't need De Bruyne or Aguero so we could have them.
Stop for one minute and imagine De Bruyne and Neves in the middle with Costa, Jota and Aguero up front.

I think a little bit of wee just leaked out

I think the slagging he got from Mourhinio at half time probably had the most effect

3-2 to Utd now!

Goal by Smalling arguably the worst player on pitch in the first half.

It's a funny old game!

Says a lot about club priorities these days when two teams in derby games today rested players for a qf champions league clash.

It think it would be slightly different if the title race was still open though.

As it is, Man City have already won the league and Liverpool are unlikely not to finish in the top four.

Yeah can completely understand city doing it as the title is in the bag and they need to be 100% on Tuesday but Liverpool could have done with points though I guess second to fourth means the same these days.

The Merseyside derby was a complete squib of a game.

A damp one at that. Shame these derbies fell in between the champions league games. Amazing that after such a brilliant season that City should concede 6 goals in two games. They will still win the league but cant see them turning it around against Liverpool.

Shane Long in action for Southampton at Arsenal today. Just reading he has scored one goal in his last 47 appearances for club and country
