Last season he was completely ineffective but played in the right formation this season he's doing pretty well.
Remember it's Becchio somma and gradels goals that need replacing so it will take more than McCoy smack hitting form.
We need Becchio to be injury free and score another 17 goals, plus someone to fill the goals gap left by 14 goal somma.
Keogh and forssel aren't goal machines and Snoddy seems off form so it could be a challenge.
Jonty, I hope Becchio gets close to last seaons target allowing for injury he's had. Mc at this rate could surpasse Max's total and then just need to spread the other goals around. It was said around me today that Clayton reminds them of a young Bowyer. Up and down the pitch all day and I think he can chip in with a fair few goals.

Clayton has proved revelatory, I hope the club tie him to a long contract.
McCormack is on track for season of his life, but bearing in mind last season I'm not counting chickens with him.
I don't think Becchio is fully fit yet, but would expect about 13 more goals from him if he gets to play most every game, we have allot of strikers to accommodate now.
WW, some people stated we would not replace his goals. I have to agree with the defence problem. It seems they have got themselves into such a state they are going onto the pitch believing they will concede. Not sure what the answer is as they aren't bad players. Matteo did state a fresh ideas on the training ground were needed....bring back GG.

It's hard to be effective when you're not playing, Jonty.
You're being very harsh on McCormack for last season. Grayson simply didn't give him a chance.
Jonty is right and wrong, as a confidence player Ross needed games, however he was up against becchio and somma.
