So your suggesting no longer playing our leading goal scoring striker as a striker.
Well hasent our leading goalscorer scored goals from the wing?
He might score from right back as well...
I would stick with McCormack up front in a 4-4-2.
I think he is a confidence player and seems to be content with starting up-front.
He does play on the wing at times, but that tends more to be mid game tactics.
Him and Becchio up-front is looking the business for me.
Also, he seems to play better when there is a lot of skillful movement around him (Clayton, Snodgrass, Gradel etc).
I would be more intrigued with a left winger to be signed.
Play our prolific striker on the wing.....making him do more than is required from him?
C`mon now, thats ludicrous.
Haven't we just signed Danny Pugh?
Pugh moves on wednesday, stoke want him to play for them on tuesday.... According to duncan castles
I heard it third hand, should ignore til we see it happen.
Agreed jonty, i can't really remember pugh lighting the place up before, what's changed? don't think i like this deal to be honoust
McCormack could play well on the left wing, but he's obviously a striker. It's should be a last resort, not a first choice. He's a striker, is playing fantastically, and should stay upfront.
