Sporting president has been voted out, so it looks like we will enter into negotiations with them to pay a fee for Patricio.

Just heard Muppet on talksport, what a dinosaur he is, so glad he's no longer at Wolves.

Bit disrespectful. I imagine you weren't so ignorant during the season we won the league.

Jack Wilshire is at Compton according to my pal, Gem.

Will be interesting to see if that materialises.

I support Nuno in whoever he wants.

Sammy Chung, Nuno, and Mick - our title winners in my time supporting the club. Maybe a statue along the lines of "The Three Graces" would be in order.

I met Sammy Chung at a Stafford Rangers dinner. Pal of mine was the Financial Director (Hughes). He was with Mick Mills, both working with Ipswich. Great night.

Then, in later years, I went for a meeting with old pal, George Berry, who I'd known since he'd been a "pinball wizard" in the Molineux Hotel. Wanted a quote for producing their match programmes. Couldn't be done - too demanding a timescale, especially after a cxyp draw requiring a replaying only a few days.

Auto correct going wild!

Mind you I did work with a company that produced programmes for a few clubs. They were based in Cradley Heath, called Windmill Print. They did Stoke's and Bristol Rovers, and maybe others. I was a guest of theirs on a few games. One I remember prominently was at Stoke, where the players all joined us after the game. Things like that don't happen any more, but I cherish the memories.

How about Graham Turner, Dave Jones and Kenny Jackett? Where were you between Sammy Chung and your hero?

Bute

Mid to late 1980s I had a supplier who had a table in the Stanley Matthews Suite in the old Victoria ground at Stoke. I used to get invited there fairly regularly and every time I went had a great time. The players still went in there after the game for a few beers - brilliant.

I remember going into the suite after a game against Wolves, and the players coming in to join us. All laid on by a print supplier. I think I preferred the old Stoke ground to the new one in some ways.

Talking about grounds, loving most of the ones that are being used in the world cup. Wouldn't mind our revamped Molineux looking like them.

No - this was in later years. Early 90's if I recall correctly. Another supplier used to take me to Edgbaston every year for a Test Match. Again an enjoyable experience.
