City: Aguero
Utd: Nani
Arsenal: Sagna
Liverpool: Reina
Spurs: Modric
My team would be this:
Cech
Sagna, Luiz, Terry, Cole
Nani, Modric, Meireles, Mata
Aguero, Torres
Subs: Reina, Ivanovich, Van Aanholt, Ramires, McEachran, Sturridge and Drogba.
The problem with most of the responses to this posting is that they include Arsenal, and Arsenal are some way off being in the top 6. They aren't even in the top two-thirds of the table.
I cant believe no one has mentioned Essien from Chelsea. I know he has not had the best time over the last couple of years but he would be great for us in central midfield.
As for the rest I would take,
Arsenal - Van Persie
Liverpool - Suarez
Man City - Silva
Tottenham - Bale
All quality players.
And my team would look like,
De Gea
Smalling Vidic Jones
Essien
Suarez Silva Anderson Bale
Rooney Van Persie
Arsenal: Not really sure but I guess Wilshere
Chelsea: That Mata looks pretty useful already, may just take him, or an on form Essien if he ever gets back to that.
ManCity: Silva
Tottenham: For United it would be Modric
United: Rooney, goes without saying.
Liverpool: Reina
These are the players I'd take simply because I believe United has every other area of the field covered with quality.
In Cleverly and Anderson we have an exciting Central Midfield for the future, but it's only early days and I'm sure we'll see dips in form.
So for me the easy choice is to pick midfielders
Diggler (U4142)
You'd take Bale over Nani?
I was just trying to fit all these players into a team
Realistically I would play 442 and only Silva would get into the team unless Essien showed any sign of returning to old form.
And I would have Valencia over Nani anyway.
"Arsenal - Nobody (Wilshere is overrated and not as good as Cleverly, would have taken Cesc)"
I know we're in bad form and that. But

United fan:
Arsenal: Wilshere
Chelsea: Essien (if fit)
City: Silva
Spurs: Modric
Liverpool: ....?
Ive picked players that would actually improve United (midfielders) so beyond these players i cant think of any more. We dont need defenders or strikers (or wide players really) so...
Arsenal-Wilshere
Spurs-Modric
United-Rooney (hate to admit it)
City-Silva (him and Mata on the wings)
