Absolutely atrocious defending from Roma tonight, defending like that in a CL semi, deserve to be out

Looked very bad for Ox. Highly doubt he will play ahJn for us this season, if he still makes the World Cup he will be fortunate.

Our squad gets thinner every game but the players just won’t let it stop them.

Didn’t look pretty, saw the knee cap wobbling about as if the bones had compressed in either side around the knee joints. Only seen one angle of it though

Would’ve taken that before the game!

Great result.

We were poor first 20 mins, a bit nervous, but the moment we started playing we ripped them to bits and for the next hour were brilliant.

Then we were knackered in the last 10 and made mistakes.

Still a superb result and performance though, and I expect us to get through.

Gutted for Ox.

We should play strong team against Stoke. Sat morning game and then 2nd leg at Weds so plenty of time. Need to get top 4 in the bag.

Tore my MCL at a drunken Halloween party slipping on wet outdoor decking last year and it's still giving me pain and issues 6 months later, but I don't have access to world class medical teams. If it is a ligament it's gonna be months though. I thought when I saw it, he's gonna be out of the world cup.

True but we can’t go into Chelsea game with them having an opportunity to get level with us. 3 points against Stoke and it’s more or less done.

The way his leg went, I'm guessing torn ACL, which will also fluck up his front knee ligaments also.

I backed Studge for a long while because he used to be a top, top striker.

Yeah maybe not wholesale changes then. I would rest Salah, but Firmino and Mane should be more than enough to have Stoke beaten by the hour mark, they're terrible.

I think Salah will play against Stoke.

He wants to break records and for that you need to play. Probably why Klopp subbed him tonight.

We can make some changes and still field a strong team, it’s midfield where we are struggling for numbers with Can, Lallana and now Ox all out. We may have to turn to Woodburn or other youngsters.
