for the OP, I don't think anyone will be judging AVB on one match away to Man Utd. It is clear to see that slowly the team are taking on board his philosophy and we're improving.

I think if we play Luiz we will play Ivanovic as well so that when Luiz gets forward Ivanovic can sit back and cover the gap. If we played Luiz and Bosingwa we would be very exposed at the back. Other than that hopefully Lampard and Meireles have good games feeding Mata, Torres and Sturridge torment the United defence. But that's easier said than done.

Anelka does not have the capability to trouble a United defence. He doesnt stay up top. He drops too deep. I dont see the problem in starting with Torres with Sturridge & Mata on the wings. Its a perfect time to get our new team up and running.

What is the point in continuing to stick with the old guard? Anelka isnt the future.Whether people like it or not, Torres is. He should be the focal point of our attack with Mata & Sturridge supplying him

Mr Chelsea, we know that Torres is the future but I dont see any wrong in trying to snatch the 3 pts. If avb believes that drogba or nico and not torres will get us a result then i don't have any probs with that. The season is long, torres will get his games.

We def should start the same front three from Tuesday night.

I can´t see Anelka causing them any problems if he starts.

Mikel and Lampard should be dropped but I can't honestly see the latter being dropped.
