The pressure mounts

It doesn't sound good. These comments coming out means he has already lost the respect of the dressing room.

A loss against Palace and he may well be shown the door.

I have tried to give him the benefit of doubt, that his rotation is trialling players for next season, but it isn't working, there is no football identity anymore, we need to be Leicester again.

Our style of play needs adapting, there's no question of that. We don't have the legs anymore.

The problem is, is it's difficult to see where we're going under Puel as he's sucking the life out of us on and off the pitch. But if we are to adapt, the manager needs to know who he can trust player wise. Albrighton for example playing wherever he's asked a la James Milner for Liverpool, and getting his head down and stuck in.

Talk of player unrest is a familiar showing and maybe this time we'll put an end to that for good and find out who is committed to the cause and who needs moving on. Becasue we cannot be stuck in this management revolving door while we're still stuck with the same old and getting older dissidents.

We need some results now there's no doubt about it, and I hope that the owners have bought into what Puel is trying to do, because it maybe worse if he was to go along with Mahrez et al and the cycle starts again and we limp in and out of relegation battles.

I am hopeful with a collection of new additions, it could work. I'd rather give it a go and see rather than start from scratch again and end up chasing a nothing season.

P.S. I still wouldn't mind Benitez in though. He likes to spend money

The thing is there are ways of keeping the players onside, with Claudio it seemed to be bizarre decisions and last minute changes to practiced tactics, with Claude it seems to be a lack of communication with players, exactly what the Southampton players complained about.

Also, if it’s true he declared the first half against Southampton was ‘ Perfect’ he really does need to look at himself.

Yes, i know there are concerns. But every manager has a bit of delusion in some way

Reading through all the comments over the past few weeks regarding CP, I’m wondering if the owners/board just want a “yes man” in charge. Anyone with a dash of flamboyancy about them might be seen as a threat.

Down he's not a yes man he's doing his own thing when Shakey was more of that kind of manager.
As for pressure what pressure only the few on here and the media. most fans i have talked to want to give him time and think its the players who are not up to it.

All it takes is a few individuals to make it sound like he's lost the dressing room rather than making changes some don't want.

That’s fair enough nev, accepting him for what he is. How about the second point then?

Vardy has just come out and said there isn't dressing room unrest in the Mercury

posted on 27/4/18

Sent out as a spokesman to quell the fans then. It also suggests that he himself isn't the problem.

Nev can’t blame the players then if Puel gets sacked, they’re all behind him.

If the club are about to sack the manager
And given the time frame of the new transfer window and the world cup,
I hope their having secret talks with someone and already have players targeted
Otherwise we are for another
"Building" season!
At this point it's
Stick or twist both of which are a hugh gamble,

posted on 27/4/18

No gamble we have a manager who has a plan the window shuts on August 6th if he is going which i don't believe Wenger had better start sooner than the end of the season.

We’ll still try and sign players too late!!
