Candidly, I'm not a fan of musicals. I feel the musical numbers take away from the flow of the story. It adds a fantisism that is overwhelming. Someone alluded to how effective animated musical numbers have been and I concur but animation is an entirely different art form, compared to live action movies. There are things that work in animation that will not work in live action. My other issue is that musicals feel like I am watching a theater stage show and not a movie.

I'd call them fight choreography more than dance. With dance, there is usually a romantic element involved and it's more about conveying emotions.

Maybe - I just think generally it's a strange thing to object to compared to any other aspect of a movie that can break the realism. I do agree that Joker 2 shouldn't have gone down that route though.

Like Acolyte which some are reporting a $300m budget spent, you could see the stunning locations and visual brilliance of that show, does Joker 2 follow

Carrie Ann Moss was hardly in it.
I’m guessing that Amanda woman got paid well, for double duty.
It needs to be investigated by police…. This is blatant fraud. How the hell Kennedy still got a job. The whole thing needs a serious investigation

Meanwhile.. Agatha is the least expensive MCU show and it's better than quite a few of them.

I don't care what anyone says aboot Star Trek Into Darkness, I really enjoyed it fam and I'll plant my flag and die on that hill ⛳.

Was a million times better than that awful third Star Trek movie that JJ had no part in. I'll happily criticise the Disney Star Wars sequels that JJ was involved in all day long though as they were crap lol.

Into Darkness was grate

Can't believe the Trekkies actually rated it as the worst movie. Worse than the one where they casually went back in time to get a humpback whale?

Oh come on… he totally messed up Khan. Totally the wrong actor to play the part. Stupid story.
Brilliantly resets the timeline in the first film. But then screwed it up with Khan.
And then the switch up with Kirk dying not dying, which now in hindsight is a JJ trademark in lazy directing…

Cumberbatch was brilliant.

I think they were looking for a more OG accurate Kahn cause they were in talks with Del Toro first.

Probably would have worked fine as an episode. But as a movie it felt like a big step down to me. Totally lacked the grandeur and atmosphere of the first two I thought.

Sausages is a very good actor… but totally wrong to play Khan. Then to lie aboot the casting, he shot himself in the foot there…
Then later gets the Star Wars gig, and kills off Solo
