Captain Marvel role was a bit poor. Shes off around the galaxy while this masterplan is being developed to go back in time. Why won't you call the strongest Avenger? Also her haircut didn't suit her.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
She’s just too powerful to have around constantly imo

Makes everyone else pointless. Haircut was obviously a nod to the comics.

They cut a lot of the beginning out I think as we never saw capt with his beard or them tell Danvers ( she’s not actually captain marvel yet is she? ) where to find tony.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I guess you are right you dont want her to gatecrash a theme which has worked and she is too powerful Superman like.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Plus this was pretty much a love letter film for the originals

Had a feeling before the movie we would lose some Avengers. Was thinking more like whoever Don Cheadle was supposed to be or Bucky. Did not see that coming.

I pretty much knew iron man would be gone mainly due to how much it costs to have Downey jr in the films although I thought he’d be in the background still building suits just off screen.

I like fat Thor. Proper nutter A combination of Rocket and Thor is comic book poorn imo.
Cap wielding Mjolnir was an epic and nice surprise. I knew he did it in the comics just never expected it for the movie.
Downey Jr's acting was world class and trust me this isn't because of the hype he's getting. You can't imagine someone better as Tony Stark.
For once Black Widow actually showed some character although that face that Scarlett Johansson does when she wants to show grief or sadness...I really don't know what's going on there.
I actually liked the time travel stuff although I know it opens a can of worms for future stories.
Loki made it out alive and literally nobody knows about it

I thought the time travel stuff came off pretty well better than expected but I can see some not liking it.

I enjoyed fat Thor at the beginning but started to grate on me later on.

I know they’ve made him more comedic to keep Hemsworth on board but some of it’s so forced and doesn’t work well imo

Maybe but he brings alot to Avengers. You wont be able to replicate that. He basically has been Mr Avenger.

Had a feeling about Capt America because Chris Evan's wanted to quit playing Capt for a while now. Nice ending for him but how did you reverse his power to become a normal human?

I consider Thor in the same boat as Captain Marvel...they're just too strong so you have to dumb them down somehow.

I don’t think he has become a normal human.

I think he still ages just slower. He already lived about 30 years then went back and lived another 70 odd.

Looked pretty good for a 100 plus man

still had a good head of hair.

Loved that line when Iron Man tells Rocket that he thought he just a build a bear sat on the table

There's some epic interactions in the film.

Didn't Captain America go back to 1970 (which is 49 years behind). I thought he saw his girlfriend in 1970 and went to her.

I don't understand the 70 years, unless he went back to 1945.

Clip at the end looked like the 1940s to me than 1970s

Good point Kash

I just thought he needed to put the stones back and went to 1970 and stayed there. I didn't pay too much attention at the end.

There's a lack of explanation for quite a few things including that ending for Cap.

Unless he goes all the way back and never becomes Captain America in the first place but still finds Peggy. A bit out of character for Steve Rodgers but you have to end it somehow.

Basically that timeline they went back to is completely facked. I don't know how they all think it worked

The time travel aspect along with what looked like ninja computer game we saw Hawkeye in and Prof Hulk looking like Shrek and Thor being fat, I thought at times I was watching a parody. I was wondering if I went to the right screen.

He dropped the stones back then went and had that dance in the 40s which he had to take a rain check on in the first avenger

posted on 29/4/19

Did Capt take 4 or 5 of those time moving capsules from Starks lab? I guess who used some to return the stones and left last one for Peggy so there was no coming back.

Black Captain America now. Will there be more Avengers?

Spiderman away from home will continue post Iron Man death and Guardians of the galaxy is nailed on with Thor.

posted on 29/4/19

I'm really looking forward to the new Guardians...or Asgaardians.

They should give it a rest before introducing another Captain America and possibly Ironheart.

Once the Avengers got together for the first time, I saw very little reason for other individual films unless in Space or another planet or in the past.

The reason for this is the stakes seem really low in these individual films once you've saved the planet multiple times already and also for some reason some heroes that could help are conveniently not there.

Basically I feel once the Avengers films started (and I think they should've started a bit later), it's very difficult to go back to individual films.

It's basically been that way though with the OG 6. They always popped up in each others' movies...apart from Thor who had his own world/galaxy to take care of.
