Halliday is still better than Hodson somehow !! Hodson when he came in early in the season so far of the pace of the game it was unreal. Halliday actually wasnt that bad against Aberdeen tbf

Too physical a clash for holt. Need some physicality in midfield.

Holt provides more physicality than Goss IMO far more running power anyway

I don't know who any of those men are. Are they football players?

Goss offers some quality in the middle to pick a pass and open up defenses. We need a mix of physical and quality in there which is why I’ve went for 3 CM and no Windass 😀

agree, i dont think Halliday has been that bad at left back. Certainly not the liability Hodson would be.

Hmm i thought Goss was poor against Aberdeen but a lot of that was the pitch. He is just a little but lightweight and that Hibs team have loads of energy hence why I would with Holt .... plus he hates Hibs !

Hodson isn’t a footballer

He’s Shellsuit Bobs stunt double who wandered in to Murray Park one day and somehow ended up in the squad.

That's the team i would go for with Halliday at LB and Alves in for the hopeless Martin.

If Windass is available I'd try play him as advanced as possible as Cummings doesn't impress me when he is left up on his own

But really to make sure that Cummings doesn't get left as a lone striker too much as he struggles when he doesn't have people to play off.

Cardoso is not as bad as his performance in the last old firm he played in would have you believe. In fact i think there's a half decent player in there when he gets to grips with our game.

I think a point will be enough for us though and would expect Hibs will come out flying to try and win it. That could suit us if we set up to be compact as we have players to counter. Not sure if Windass is fit but if he is would almost be tempted to play him up front instead of Cummings as he did against Aberdeen twice in November. With him Candeias and Murphy breaking we would pose a threat on the counter.

Great shout, Windass over Cummings would suit us better but there would be something poetic about Cummings finishing Hibs off.
