I actually don't have an issue with Spurs but their fans on here are really annoying. Need putting in their place. Absolute bottle-jobs against United too.

This period between now and the CL final is one of the best ever time's to be a red mate. Anticipation. Hope. Excitement. Gotta love it!

On any given day LFC are a match for any team in world football. That's why I think they have a hell of a chance in the CL Final.

However, over a league season, they are not consistent enough (yet) to finish higher than they have done this season. That won't matter if they win the CL though and they'll have had a fantastic season if they do.

The table doesn't lie though and a United team with a past-it manager and not very good players (according to some on here) have finished second.

No doubt LFC are an exciting team and are close to City in that respect but they do need to take the next step if they are to challenge for a league title. Truth is though that all teams below City this season have to do that to bridge the gap.

You're on too GB. But £10 only, there maybe more and I'm a pensioner. Ten bets like the one you're after would be a grand.

Spurs jubilation at pipping us to 3rd is a bit embarrassing really, especially given they had to cheat their way to a point at Anfield to get it

Montleeds, if I lose I will get my brother to post you the money, I've only got euros. The same for you GB.
No bet Lambeau, because I think City will retain the league.
All bets will be honoured.

SO many positives of being a Liverpool fan right now.

We have the best front 3 in world football.

The worlds most expensive defender. (a colossus of a man!)

We have the best left back in the league.

Our midfield (and team as a whole) have unbelievable fitness and cover more ground than most, if not all teams in the league. It's such an underrated quality.

We have the best player in the world in our team on current form. The player of the year. The domestic and European top goalscorer. HE'S A WINGER.

Would anyone else want another manager? EVERYONE would love to have Klopp. And he's ours. He's our biggest asset of them all.

We can attract the best players in the world again. Our new stand (don't forget we are expanding our ground FURTHER) makes the stadium look amazing, we have a fantastic manager who's tactics are not only to win but to ENTERTAIN and we're back in the Champions League for another season!

------------------
Here's another stat you forgot

Last season you finished 7 points ahead of United
This season you finished 6 points behind

Yep, Klopp certainly has you headed in the right direction, see how easy it is to hoodwink people

What jubilation? More than one of you lot couldn’t wait to start talking about us despite the fact that it was you vs Chelsea to see who qualifies for the CL. I’ve not seen any jubilant posts from spurs fans, unless they’re ones I’ve filtered

OK Mont & GB. Tenners to Admin it is.

Great season, enjoyed every minute of it from a Liverpool fans perspective.
Last season we were told by many the only reason we got top 4, was because we had no European football.
We then went on to go through pre qualifying, right through the competition, breaking records along the way, and look forward to the final in two weeks time, after qualifying again for next seasons CL..
We were told we were a one man team, sold that one man, made a fortune from the sale, and kicked on regardless.
We didnt have the squad size in terms of depth of others, yet despite a flood of injuries, have continued to play with style pace, and flair, whilst also introducing some real young quality players along the way, who have the brightest of futures to look forward to.
The introduction of VVD, and a defence that has become far more solid, 17 clean sheets I think its been this season, the only team to not lose at home this season in all 4 divisions, a record breaking forward, and player of the season.
Obviously with our depleted squad, and an influx of high intensity games toward the end of the season, we have had to prioritise somewhat, but with Keita, and probably a couple of other s to come in, roll on next season.
Does the table lie ?
Who gives a fluck, because Im pretty sure I wouldnt swap Liverpools overall position, for that of Man Uniteds, or Spurs, in terms of development of the squad, the managers style of doing things, and the opportunity to become this years European Champions.
Theres a bigger picture there, but only for those who can be bothered to look.

I think we have a good 13-14 players where as to be consistent in the league you need 18-20 at that high level..

Our first team strongest on its day can beat anyone but 3 games a week and injury’s and we will drop points more than say City..

So yes our best 11 probably is the 2nd best team in England but our squad strength is probably 3rd or 4th this summer we should address that a bit better.

Such a good manager couldn’t get his backup players to step up?

posted on 13/5/18

Agree with just about all that jlou. Still, don't write us off, I don't like our style of play either, and I'm a fan. But Jose does have the happy habit of getting wins at the right time, and winning trophies. He may just find the right player to make us click next year, and I think we will be challenging.

Robertson and Alexander Arnold were not first team starters at the beginning of the season, and have certainly stepped up.
Your plainly an idiot, who hasn't the faintest clue about fluck all.
Youd be better spending your time discussing your grief hole of a club, with your fellow blue noses, rather than wasting our time, with your constant waffle.
