Lallana has hardly kicked a ball this season and when he has he's not looked right.

You could reasonably select any keeper from Pickford, Pope and Butland. Joe Hart would be managerial suicide imo.

Everyone of the Englands keepers have had dodgy moments in the last few seasons. Out of the top 4 i'd rate them in order as Pickford, Pope, Butland and a long way in 4th Hart.

Pickford had a stinker yesterday. The only good keeper this season has been Pope and he might not even be taken. Would be a joke if that's the case.

Agreed Pope has been our best keeper but he will be ousted because we want to take Hart as a cheerleader.

Every team posted has a back 4 despite Southgate confirming long ago it will be a 3...

Let's bring him along so he can tell us how best to stop shots from Iceland, and how to put players off during pen shootouts.

GK - Pope is as good a shout as Butland tbh, neither are brilliant.

LWB - I don't think Rose is up to speed. Young has been reliable this season and adds experience and a will to win.

CM - Can Alli play that role in a huge game? Not for me.

Lingard or Alli? Alli is a match winner however I feel in a big game Lingard offers more off the ball as well as creativity on it, he also loves a goal in a huge game. Sterling and Lingard have linked very well for England and I'd like to see that given the chance to blossom.

Yeah if it's a back 5 then Young for Rose for me.

Also completely forgot about Lingard. I'll definitely have him over Rashford for the starting spot.

Yeah he's had a much better season than Rashford, and offers a lot more all round.

Rashford could be useful if we need a goal, but he is completely shot of confidence.
