I agree with this. People should have their BMI checked as they walk through shop doors, and if it's above say 30 they should be charged more. Likewise, they should have body fat scanners in McDonald's - anyone with more than 25% body fat should only qualify for healthy option meals. I call it the Fat Barstard Tax.

100% support this. Maybe there could be some form of rebate for the fatties in the form of coupons that they could spend on gym memberships and iceberg lettuce?

Just shut down McDonalds completely, it doesn't bring anything positive to society.

fat tax hahahaha fack off you need more material, ergo it should cost more, why should i spend the same amount as someone who needs 40% more fabric

We all face the same rises in premium despite no change in circumstances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But you still pay less for being a safer driver or living in a safer neighbourhood, or having a more secure car etc etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But I also pay less for a cheap t-shirt over a "branded" one.

Look it was never meant to be a direct analogy - just pointing out that we live in a "civilised" society where costs are spread.

That said, it's hard to justify it all really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Civilised? Only civilised for those that benefit from it.

Under these rules shouldn't a large meal and medium size meal cost the same?

Be careful what you wish for.

In the late 1800s, China introduced a system that priced garments according to size.

The problem was that people realised that having smaller kids worked out much cheaper over the longer term.

Within a couple of decades they'd created a nation of pipsqueaks that were easily invaded by the marginally Japanese.

Conclusion: prices should be the same regardless of size, and gov't should subsidise companies to produce larger sizes to promote having bigger citizens.

Drop the subsidies if we get invaded by France and we're too fat to fight.

Invaded by France

The only flag where the colours are attached by velcro so the flag can turn white at any time.

I don't underatand how someone can get so fat in the frst place! Do peolle not see themselves and then think "here I'm a fat mess time for a salad and a jog"

And mates play a big part in this too, it is your duty as a friend to tell ypor fat mate that he's fat and is going to die of a heart attack.

Taxis should have scales in the seats as well so that they can charge for fuel consumption for additional weight more fairly. Might encourage more people to walk as well.

Clothes have always been the same cost regardless of size apart from kids sizes, why do you feel the need to use this to have a pop a large/fat people?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because why should I, somebody who buys a small, subsidise somebody who buys an xxl?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How are you subsidising me?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Fixed it for you mate
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow you're funny

Proper friend, has to be done. If your mate was on gear and slowly dying from it you'd have an intervention, fat is the same

Bit harsh on tall people who can't help their height.

Fatties who need a t-shirt the size of a parachute really need to sort themselves out. Stomach staples seem to work well

posted on 15/5/18

how about locking them in a room for a month, then ill believe the 'i cant lose weight' nonsense

I love McDonalds, especially hungover, but they should have the right to refuse admission like a pub can, "you're too fat" can be the equivilant of "you're too drunk".

It's price discrimination.

Also, your whole argument here is that you should benefit from not having to subsidise perceived higher marginal cost of larger sizes, how can you even make that last post.
