Dorrans is a dud ! Rogic who is not blessed with pace cruised past him, he hid during the crucial games. He'll be side lined and it's up to him to decide if wants to lay football or stay and be a parasite.

Dorrans' is fooking guff.

Guys saying Dorrans can go whilst rating Docherty when only one of those two done anything for us this season and it wasn't Docherty baffles me.

Holt, Halliday, O'Halloran, Pena, Forrester and possibly Dodoo if Gerrard doesn't rate him should all be punted from the midfield.

So...what has Dorrans done for us ??? Docherty is a kid, he's hardly played and been forced to play with duds like Dorrans !!

Ps I didnt include MoH , Pena or Forrester as there's a better chance of me getting game under SG than any of them !!!

He was our best player until injury, he won us the opening game of the season played well for a month or so then was injured.

Came back into a team that the erse had collapsed out of and looked no worse than any of the rest of them.

Docherty is a headless chicken, great engine, questionable ability. We've got enough guys who can run about, Dorrans at least can play an incisive pass and has some creativity.

Docherty is poor but no-one expects anything from him.

Dorrans came with expectations and so far he's went hiding whenever he's been relied upon.

Until injury he was our best player, dragged us to opening day victory if remember correctly.

I don't know what happened to Dorrans as he was a regular scorer and I thought he did fine, then he got injured and came back schite.

Perhaps he didn't fully recover from that injury.

Dorrans who done more than Docherty after being out for ages injured is a complete dud but Docherty who's done nothing which suggests he's a future at Rangers will be a good player....

Does it ?? My take on that is that Hodson is a defender...Docherty isn't ! Further, Nicholl was at the club when the kid was recruited and when he ran over our midfield when playing for Hamilton. I think you being unfair on a kid , I prefer to believe that he has talent and energy which can be harnessed by a good coach.
Against Celtic, Dorrans was disgrace, not tracking back, giving up early doors...everything e don't need

He was replacing a CM and chose to move Halliday from LB to CM so he could sub on a full back rather than do a straight swap in CM and use Docherty, so it does.

And which players did those things against Celtic in those two performances? Every player to a man was disgraceful in those games, he was no more disgraceful than most of them.

Jimmy Nichol's prefers Halliday to Docherty so let's ditch the kid !!! We'll see which one is there in September

I agree Zachsda...He came to his boyhood club, has barely played but when he has he's played alongside inadequates. The kid is a good player and will benefit hugely from being coached by guys like McAllister and Gerard . Rossiter, McCrorie, Jack and Dochery are the future , imo. Who we bring in to augment and improve is up for debate , but I can't see Dorrans being part of it.

I read somewhere that Docherty had a bust up with JN after the Celtic game and that's why he didn't get a look in.

Makes sense if true.

After seeing Docherty with Hamilton I've got no doubts he could be a good player. As has been said he just needs proper coaching, management and better players around him.

Plus the whole club is in dire need of some stability! Just a wee bit of that will go a long way.

Things like Holt being made captain one week and getting dropped the nest will hopefully be a thing of the past.

When Stevie G was interviewed by BT, he said that it was a clean slate and a fresh start for everyone. So, some of these players might not be leaving as soon as you might think....just saying
