Jose is a fantastic manager, who will almost certainly win competitions for whichever club he manages. However, there is no question that he is a much angrier and bitter man nowadays. I really believe the change occurred while he was in Madrid. Before that he was sarcastic and funny, and although he still managed to wind up other managers, he seemed to do it with a twinkle in his eye and a sense of humour. Now there is no humour to his bitter remarks. He still picks fights with people, but now there's no jovial comradery - he's he's just mean and twisted.
When he came back to Chelsea for the second time the change in him was apparent - but while you're winning things it is easy to forgive him his faults. So I understand Man Utd fans being torn. You want to enjoy the success that Mourinho will likely bring, but you probably hate the baggage that he brings (even if you're not ready to admit it to yourself yet). But I can promise you one thing, Man Utd fans - after he is gone, win, lose or draw, you will breathe a sigh of relief. At the moment Mourinho is the head guy at Man Utd - and not only does he bring a brand of dreadful football that has never been seen before Ferguson left, but he also constantly embarrasses the club with his awful post match comments. It's never nice to lose a game, particularly a cup final, but it could still be done with a modicum of dignity and respect - something that Mourinho seems no longer to possess. I imagine that his comments embarrassed 99% of Man Utd fans in the same way that he embarrassed Chelsea fans when he led our club. The Man Utd club and fans deserve better than Mourinho - and I hope you are able to get rid of him soon. I promise, you will feel a lot better after he has gone.
