Madrid will hope to just kill off liverpool early in midfield. Keep it away from Henderson or whoever plays in CM so you cannot feed the front three. However Modric and Kroos had a terrible time against Tottenham.

We don't need the midfield to provide. I think we'll employ similar tactics to those against Roma in the first leg. Bypass the midfield and hit diagonals for the front three to run on to.

Well yes. But how they do that requires the rest of the team to push up, especially the full backs, to give them options as obviously we'll be on them like flies round crap. When that's done, it we obtain the ball, we'll look to hit the front three with balls in their vacant full back positions.

Hopefully it goes to plan.

Unfortunately I don't see anything but a Liverpool win. Madrid stumbled their way to the final and have been terrible in the league.

Whether they watched the game or they're Roma is irrelevant. If they play their own game, which I'm sure they will as they'll be confident of playing it and winning, I think we'll look to play how we did against Roma.

Or maybe we won't as they watched the game and aren't named Roma.

The 2 likely scenarios are:

Liverpool blow Madrid away, but hold on towards the end.

Liverpool Freeze and Madrid school Liverpool, but fight off a late comeback!

Also any individual brilliance could decide it either way!

I think extra time and penalties is fairly likely.
