Good news for us that England have 7 left handers and we have an offy
Sad to say but Cook needs to quit international cricket.
He doesn't have that steely concentration anymore.
Curran has a nice cockney accent

He has been on the receiving end of 2 rippers. He's been unlucky in this match.

You cannot say that after his 2 dismissals in this test. They were rippers. He s the best opener this country has still.
What happened to that Hameed kid? Showed a lot of promise when England last toured India. He was supposed to be one of England's new openers of the future?
Great day of cricket. India will need to make sure England don’t get more than 200 (250 will be the absolute max). India’s batting bar kohli is way too brittle and many are leaving on performances of 2013.

Got injured over there. Since he's come back from injury he's been in terrible form (and maybe got injured again).
Hameed has struggled badly this season for Lancs and can’t seem to get close to the form that earned him an England call up. That thumb break really hampered him I feel.
India on top....England making a habit of dropping catches to key opposition players, the second was probably half a chance but the was a dolly.....

I wouldn’t call them rippers. They are the classic right arm of spin delivery from around the wicket. Pitch it on leg and drift it in. Cook technique was found wanting.
Kohli’s last 11 hundreds have been scores of 149+
World class gets thrown about too easily these days but in his case, it’s a very apt phrase. Has single handedly kept India in this Test.
Kav if top order and middle order show some spine, kohli can get his big double 100s that we have seen in the past. Some pitches like oval will be really good to bat on. Really hope to see some of the batsmen there look hard at themselves. All they need to do is stick around and kohli can take over
Big big if Viru. Where is Saha by the way? Can you believe Karthik was in the last 2007 team that beat England.
I think there are real question marks over Vijay, Dhawan, Rahane and Pujara in Test cricket if they don’t perform this series. The likes of Shaw and Nair are waiting in the wings. Why don’t the selectors throw a young player in at the deep end - will be better than a senior who constantly keeps failing.
Saha is injured, think he is out for the entire series. To be honest, I'd rather have Karthik.
Of the others you mentioned, Rahane I think deserves his place. I know he didn't play well today but he is our best overseas batsman. He just needs a prolonged run in the team and not get constantly dropped for Rohit Sharma.
Off bloom Rahane has actually struggled for a while now. He has not really scored a 100 for a while now and seems like the quest to get into one day team has messed with his ability to bat with patience.
IMO this has to be their last series as Kav says. No point of bringing them back in home matches cause they are always going to score runs there. It’s a question of whether they have the game to play in tough conditions and I am not convinced they do
It was a truly awesome innings from Kohli once he was dropped for the second time. The way he protected the tail was exceptional.
Malan owes England a lot of runs in this series although he may only get 3 more innings if he continues to struggle. Not for just the extra runs that India got through those drops which should have given England a lead of over 100 and allowed them to be batting again much earlier to potentially be some 150 runs ahead by the end of the day. But also this innings now sets Kohli up for the rest of the series.
You boys not bored yet? How longs left before someone wins, 864 day’s play?

Yep, you feel like Bairstow and Buttler will be the key to England setting India a tough target.
Kohli played well no doubt, but I think far too much gushing this morning about an innings where he was beaten multiple times and dropped twice, people say it proved his greatness, well I already knew he was a great batsman and had no doubt he would score a century in this series.
Secondly, Anderson's big talk in India about how the pitches offered him no help. He really needs to step up this series or keep his mouth shut.
