Finally got your man, the football will be better but the record about the same I'd imagine.

I'd agree with that to be honest. can see it being like Martinez's tenure i.e might have a good first season but then 2 mediocre seasons thereafter. Hope I'm wrong tho!
It's all about getting the balance right, if it all clicks with Marcel then it could be the making of us.
Hopefully Lookman will be rejoining us now we are looking to build a young squad
Silva is very much like his fellow countryman Jose. Other than the fancy name the football will be no different to Fat Sam.

I doubt that considering both Koeman and Sam shipped out our pacey, exciting players. I don't think Silva will be doing that, quite the opposite.

Yeah, Jose wasnt a manager who uses pace.......
Not inspired, but better than Sam that’s for sure.

If Brands and Silva can have a relationship then it will be better than Sam/Koeman.
Silva or Sam?
I feel renewed optimism and excitement with Silva. Never felt any of that with Sam.
I think Silva could be a really good fit. I'm 100% behind him and Brands.
He'll start with good football but once the rot sets in he will bail. He has never lasted long at any club he's been at.
While I agree Sam had to go as he wouldn't just change style to suit the fans, I think Everton should have looked at others rather than Silva.
7th is the absolute minimum with definite improvement in the approach and philosophy with decent runs in the domestic cups for his first season.
If he doesn't quite make that the first season we should be looking for a bit of stability and let him go again with another window or two.
For me it's all about getting into the position to be challenging with certainty the big 6 as they are called when we kick off in our new home.
