I said Poch won't be selected. Poch sacrifices cups for league finishes. At Real, you can't do that. You're expected to compete on all fronts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which they very rarely do.
Whether they manage to do it or not doesn't negate the fact they are expected to do so. Zidane, a club legend, was saved by the fact he won the CL again. Even then, he chose to leave, as he probably got all he could put of that team and knew there wasn't much else he could do.
It will be quite amusing seeing everyone talk about what a good manager Lopetegei is next season. True he has some work to do, but Barca under Valverde are beatable if they get their act together.

Poch’s league finishes have just about been on a par with some of Madrid’s in recent years
So? They still won things while competing on all fronts.
They haven’t completed on all fronts though. That would mean they were in the running for all the trophies at the business end of the season - which they weren’t. Yes they’ve won trophies, but they haven’t competed “on all fronts” anymore than we have recently.
Thought they wouldve got Wenger

No doubt Liverpool fans will now be hoping that Pochettino is being lined up for the suddenly vacant Spain job
Yes there is absolutely no doubt about that.
At all.
All of them.
Get up and post before 7am about Liverpool fans in fact as it's clearly them who have the problem.

Not even comparable.

Real Madrid haven’t “competed on all fronts” since 2013/14 when they won the CL and Spanish cup whilst taking the title race down to the penultimate weekend.
Irrespective of whether they’ve won trophies in that time, that doesn’t erase them not going very far in all the competitions they enter each season.
Yes i'm sure Pochettino's "got really far in all competitions" trophies are of much greater prestige than Zidane's 3 CL titles

Have I said that anywhere? No, didn’t think so.
Maybe you should read what was said to get an accurate understanding of what I was stating as opposed to your own wildly inaccurate assumption.
