I was only an embryo then so couldn't comment. But England done well so i bet it wasn't.

Italia 90 was a shiitfest of dullness.

England only won one match at the 1990 world cup (against Egypt) and were one kick away from the final. Would have been a joke if they had made the final.

Italia 90 was the best because it was my first WC (I was 8, almost 9) and therefore it was amazing.

I preferred France 98, Zidane/Ronaldo tearing it up.

Plus I was 11 for France 98, so don't remember a single thing about Italia' 90

It was the most overrated world cup ever. Terrible tournament looked back on with fondness by England fans and nostalgic people in their mid 30's.

I thought Brazil was a classic world cup.
France was also very good.
Japan/Korea was decent.
Germany was decent.
South Africa was crap.

Don't remember USA, and wasn't alive for Italia 90.

Best things about Italia 90 were Pavarotti, Cameroonians kicking the crap out of the Argies and the Rijkaard / Voller dust up.
The actual football was dire.

Mexico 86 and USA 94 were my favourites.

Yet is consistently ranked the worst, and had the lowest amount of tournament goals ever. English fans enjoy it becos England did well, world in motion, Roger Milla

90 and 98 were my favourites but that might be because Scotland qualified

The 24 teams Euros were crap. Portugal won despite coming 3rd in a group with Iceland, Austria and Hungary. They won 1 game inside 90 mins - total carp
