Ok think I’m the only one who wants Egypt to do well. I’d sooner he plays, albeit running the risk of injury, and then kicks on next season opposed to him coming
back disappointed and his form dropping off.

Very selfish, it’s every player’s dream to perform at the World Cup, you want to deny your talisman that so he is fit for your season. It’s understandable, but selfish. This may end up being his last World Cup.

I'm hoping they go far and Salah gets a chance to showcase his skills. So far he's not had a lot to work on. They lack a player he can link with. Their number 9 has been very poor.

I think if you understand Salah, it’s that he puts his soul into the game. Good reason why he didn’t gel at Chelsea.

Probably because we signed two top midfielders but have Ings as backup to Salah if he gets injured.

I feel sorry for salah and Egypt but I am hopeful that salah will now have time to recover for new season

I doubt he will be the same player.

In April he was going to win the GOlden Shoe and lead Liverpool to CL glory.

It has all gone wrong since then, but he is no Ronaldo.

He had a great season but won't recapture last season's heights again most likely
