His name is Wilshere though
I'm interested to see the calibre of team he goes to. At the moment he seems to be at a mid or lower-mid premier league level, definitely not top 6
Nailed on for westham or Everton!
Why, we want actual quality, not more Bakayokos and Drinkwaters. Wilshere being a good midfielder has been a myth for years.
The reason he's leaving us is because he wants guaranteed football time.
The fact he was willing to cut his wages to stay at the club clearly shows his intention to leave was not financially motivated.
If you think Conte/Sarri/whoever your next manager will be can guarantee that Jack will be a first-choice starter for you, then maybe it's worth a shot. It would be underwhelming if this is the calibre of player you are going for, though.
Personally, I would put my money on him ending up at a West Ham, Crystal Palace or Everton.
I'm sure most of the top clubs wouldn't mind Jack in their squad, but none of them can give him the assurances he wants for playing time.
Well we tricked Barkley into thinking he'll get playing time with us so don't rule us out.
He'd be a better option than Fabregas or Drinkwater.....and still no

wonder what Barkley's playing time was this term in minutes....bet it doesn't add up to a full game
Not sure we need another player living off past performances (Barkley, Drinkwater etc)
Also if we signed Wilshere it would limit Loftus-Cheeks playtime.
When the man was at Bournemouth was no better than Drinkwater.
Another injured British midfielder?

Exactly, we already have the future of English football in Loftus-Cheek. Just hope we're not dumb enough to lose him as we've done with others.

Yep.. Loftus-Cheek along with Rashford should be starting for England imo, Why is Jesse Lingard starting in CM? Loftus-Cheek already looks more accomplished than him.
