lennon himself said it didnt effect his season, the bomb threat came in march, the sammy penalty miss was april and the great highland humping was in may, did it take all that time to sink in?

Look at the OP again. If you don't like the answer then perhaps you should be directing your disappointment to the person that asked the question? If it was your manager, or indeed any other manager, that went through what Neil Lennon and his family went through then I wouldn't be arrogant enough to expect it not be mentioned.
